I (latina) had an uncomfortable experience at this restaurant that I feel is important to share.
My boyfriend’s family(Caucasian )paid for their meal and went to sit down. My boyfriend and I paid separately right behind them. After paying, my boyfriend went to the restroom while I went to sit with the family. Before entering the dining area, an employee stopped me and asked how many people I was with. I explained that my boyfriend and I had just paid and that our family was already seated.
I showed the employee my receipt as proof that I paid, but she still would not allow me to go to the table and instead made me call my boyfriend’s mom to come to the front to confirm. She continued looking at me as if she didn’t believe me, which was very uncomfortable and embarrassing.
What made the situation more confusing is that when my boyfriend came in afterward, he was not stopped or questioned at all.
I understand that restaurants need to make sure people have paid before entering, but once a customer shows a receipt, there shouldn’t be a need to treat them with suspicion or make them prove themselves further. The situation made me feel singled out and unwelcome.

Gran Via Buffet at WinStar World Casino and Resort is exactly what you expect from a buffet—but the Sunday breakfast takes it to another level.
I usually stop in for breakfast, and there’s a sweet lady at the omelet station who makes my omelet perfect every single time. That consistency alone keeps me coming back. Fresh ingredients, cooked just right, and always with a smile—it makes the whole experience feel a little more personal than your typical buffet stop.
Everything else is what you’d expect from a solid casino buffet, but that omelet station is the real highlight for me. And of course, if the casino winnings are looking good, she’s definitely getting a tip—well deserved every time!
If you’re there on a Sunday morning, don’t skip it.

For 26 dollars a plate and they add 18 percent tip on top of it for service that doesn’t even come by 😂 the food is DISGUSTING!!!!! The American Mexican or Italian and the Chinese food were all disgusting The best thing ever say was the Make your own salad!!! BEWARE OF THIS BUFFET

Worst ever food quality I ever had. Im a heavy food fighter and food lover, but this buffet quality is truly the worst ever you can ever try. I rather stay hungry than going in there and spend my $ 20. and their orange juice is the WORST I EVER tried in my whole life.

The service was great, the food…very disappointing. I was told that I shouldn’t go to Winstar Gran Buffet for my first casino buffet experience and I should have listened. The food just wasn’t good. Definitely not worth the price.
As far as buffets are concerned, there was plenty of variety, service was impeccable. The best part was the dessert spread.

Was pleasantly surprised that the chili was very good and the chicken parm was tasty and the chicken wasn't dried out! Good variety! They used to serve Beef Pho and it was always good. You'll definitely find something that you'll like here

This was my first time coming to this buffet and got it comped. If I paid , I would be pretty upset. The food was dry and appeared to be sitting out for an extended period of time. The brisket was good, creamy horseradish made it. The chicken tasted off, the fish cooked to death and dried out to the point it wasn’t even white, it was dry and dark like the breading. Idk who’s in the back but fire them or at least train them again.
