My experience was one with a lot of contention. There were 5 of us. We were served awful tasting fried eggs for breakfast (tasted old or spoiled). We sent them back and new ones were cooked and brought to us. The first thing I did was taste the yolk, and still bad. I had the taste left in my mouth for most of the morning. I sent it back and didn’t order anything else.
When the bills came, they charged me for coffee, and the other party with bad eggs, that sent theirs back a 2nd time as well, were charged for coffee, a biscuit. Gravy. I looked at the waitress and asked to speak to the manager. That’s when the fun really began.
The manager came out and said, hello, and I told her a shortened version of the story. Most managers would have said, oh by all means, let me at least take care of your coffee. NO, the polar opposite. She said “did you drink that coffee?”, I said yes (of course I sat and watched the rest of my party enjoy their breakfast), then she said, in a very abrupt confrontational way, “Well, you OWE us for that coffee.” I said “well, I’m not paying for this coffee”. She then stated: “well I’m going to call the Stop Loss department (or something like that). And I said “you do what you need to do”. I left and didn’t pay for the coffee. I thought, who is going to pay for this awful taste in my mouth and the fact that you served expired eggs
I will NEVER go back there again!

Room Service Review:
The order arrived quickly, but the food was cold and mostly crust with very little substance. Portions were small and overall disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re truly desperate.

Food was good, server was actually really good. She actually seemed like she liked her job. We had breakfast, the wester omelet, the all american and the bagel lox. All pretty good. But the omlet was a little flavorless.

The people at the check in desk really need some customer service training. The lady with the deep voice is not the greatest host. Ijs

Food was cold. We waited a while to get served on Memorial day
Best coffee ever! I inquired about buying some to brew at home. I had the All American breakfast. It was simple and delicious. The grits were nicely done. I added more salt, but I was impressed. IYKYK
Enjoyed breakfast at the Teerace Cafe this morning and was pleasantly surprised. I saw some of the older reviews and almost passed, but I can say I am glad I didn't. Both my husband and I completely enjoyed our food. He had the All American breakfast and I had the Western omelet. Both were cooked to perfection! We are typically very picky eaters so if we say it's good then it's good. We would 100% recommend this place for a great breakfast meal. The dining area is clean, well organized, and not cramped. The chandeliers and round booths add an upper scale ambience.
We were sat and ordered. Another couple had came in at the same time. They ate and left and our order did not show up. Finally after I got the manager involved our order was served . Never order steak and eggs. It is a trash cut of meat that you can't hardly cut. This is not the first time I had ordered this and I was hoping for the best. SMH. Should have known better.
Was excited to finally eat here but was soon extremely disappointed. I chose grilled chicken with potatoes croquettes . The potatoes actually had ice in them. Chicken was cold and very dry. No sauce. The stir fried vegetables were cold to the touch also. All the manager did was refry the potatoes which then came out burnt and served the the same cold chicken and vegetables. So very said. I refused to eat it. I did not pay for my meal and left hungry.
I don’t normally write reviews, we are frequent patrons. We were there on 2nd January to bring in the New Year. My wife ordered the all American breakfast and asked if she could substitute pancakes for the toast, and they said “No” the reason is because they changed price format so, no substitutions even with a up charge. We had a Great Server her name is Melissa, and she was very sorry, there were no substitutions.

I had a bad experience here this morning and I wrote a not so pleasant review but I have to say, within hours of my review being posted the manager contacted me personally and offered to rectify the situation. I have never had that happen. The fact that the manager cares that much has to show for something. I probably won't return but you have to respect a manager that goes out of the way to try make sure people are happy.
Don't eat here. Service and atmosphere are nice but they fail in the food department. We came here for breakfast. I ordered a cesar salad and breakfast burger. Wife ordered southwestern omlette and side pancakes. My burger was well overcooked and very dry. I'm usually a fan of soggy fries but not when all the fries are soggy. The fries were basically kissed by warm oil, long enough for the oil to soak in and cook them, but not hot enough for them to crisp up. The cesar salad was the best thing of our meal. Wife's omlette lacked flavor and the pancakes were flat and rubbery. Either the mixture was over beaten or they smashed them down while cooking, removing all the air from them. Given the price point of everything, we expected better quality. We will not return

Service was great, Yolanda our waiter was attentive and helpful. She gets a 5 star.
The low score is from food. We waited about 30-40 minutes after ordering for our food.
Husband got breakfast burger, and bit overcooked (meat was dry) but otherwise tasted good. Fries with burger pale, oily and undercooked (suspect fryer wasn't hot enough).
I ordered the western omelet with breakfast potatoes and wheat toast. Breakfast potatoes were great. the omelet was a bit smaller than expected for $15, and despite all the vegetables, no flavor. Toast was horrible, stale, and chewy.
Lastly, I was looking forward to the pancakes because pictures looked great . However, these were flat, chewy and had the mineral flavor of over-mixed cheap pancake mix. This side was $6, and normal stack is $10.
The ambiance is beautiful and reminds me of Bellagio in Vegas, but the quality of the food is below that of a chain diner. Only worthy plate was the Ceasars salad with added chicken for $18. Great portion and tasted great.
I had also considered the oatmeal and yogurt, but for $10 each is a small cearl bowl size.

Me and my husband went here for his birthday and we had a reservation, after we were seated it took 10 minutes for the waitor to come over and get our drink order and by then we already knew what we wanted so we went ahead and ordered our food. It seemed to take forever and they were not even very busy. The food was good but the service was something to be desired. So only go here if you are bored and have time to wait.

I have to leave this review only on one item from the menu. DO NOT ORDER THE SMASH BURGER!!! AGAIN, DO NOT ORDER THE SMASH BURGER. The smash burger is a frozen great value pattie for $18. There is no SMASH involved in the making of that burger. I was told I'd get a refund and I'll be surprised if I do. Whoever the manager of terrace cafe was on 8/17/24 around 8:15-8:45 will tell you they grind the meat themselves, might be the case, but the proof is in that damn frozen paddy you sent to my room. I love winstar, frequent it often, but terrace view cafe. This is some BS. Do Better!! You can learn what a smash burger is on YouTube.
