We were having a great time gambling and then... hunger strikes. We were near the Union Mesa so we decided to go Mexican for dinner. The restaurant is an open style restaurant, but it's not noisy. Kasie was our server. It didn't take long until we knew we had the right server. Very engaging with us. made some great recommendations on our drinks. Asked if we needed an appetizer. gave us plenty of time to look over the extensive menu. Kasie never did make us feel like we needed to hurry. She made recommendations based on what we were in the mood for, making sure that we got what we wanted. Water glass was always full. When our cocktails were getting close to empty, she asked if we needed another. She even took the time to chat with us about our experience at Winstar. Such a pleasant young lady. When we were done with our meals, which were big enough for two, she offered to go boxes. Once we were given the bill, Kasie processed it quickly so we could get back to the floor for more gambling. Overall, the experience was very pleasant. The food is quite good. When you go here, be sure to ask for Kasie, she will make your dining experience memorable.

We waited for water for 11 minutes. My husband went to the bar to get water. We then asked for our waitress and a manager it took 6 minutes. Only 5 tables with people, now I know why they have a few people at 7:20pm

Rose, our server was fabulous. We enjoyed our queso with beef and then we got the fajitas with chicken and shrimp (lots of onions but could have had more bell peppers). I also enjoyed a grande margarita. It hit the spot. Thank you for a great dining experience. We will be back.

Had a lovely time at Union Mesa, thanks to our waitress Katelyn, she was fantastic! Attentive without being pushy, and gave us space to enjoy our meal, which I really appreciated.
The atmosphere was nice, but I was a little surprised by the music selection, more Blink-182 and Creed vibes than the Mexican vibe I was expecting. As for the food, it was a bit on the bland side for my taste, but I admit I’m a tough critic since I’m Mexican and used to bolder flavors.
Still, Katelyn’s service made the evening great, and I’d happily come back to try more dishes.

The food here is excellent if you know what to order. While prices are high, that is true for many eateries at the casino. The table service has always been on point. The manager didnt charge us the full price for a soup when my sister in law asked only for the broth.
Take heed, though, that for whatever reason, the hosts and hostesses did not seem to be following any kind of system when we went there before a show. In front of the host’s stand, a group of several parties hadnt been added to the waitlist even though many of them had been there for some time. Surprisingly, no staff had bothered to ask them what they could do for them. Not sure if Union Mesa’s system was broken or the hosts that night were afraid to approach customers. We didn’t want to get in front of anyone who had been there longer so we ended up leaving.

Enchiladas. Refined beans were great, rice good, chicken enchilada was ok, a little dry, beef enchilada had too much chili powder or something. El Fenix is much better.

It was extremely busy on a Saturday night so we sat at the bar. The bartender was very attentive, our food came quickly and we never waited for refills. The servings are large and we had to take some home with us.

My expectations for this resturant were already low since it's Mexican food in a casino, unfortunately they weren't low enough. The food is barely passable, it's bland and overpriced for it's quality. Our order was brought out incorrectly, which I attribute to the server being in a rush. The drinks were also boring, they were plain and felt watered down. The service was also pretty bad, our interactions with our server were bare minimum not even an hi, or how were you doing. Every interaction was cut short, and the server even interrupted my mom while she was asking a question. It wasn't even busy enough to warrant such a rush from our server. I would recommend trying any other resturant in the casino.
I've edited my review from two stars down to one because the food made both me and my mother sick. Do not eat here. It is not worth it in any regard.

It's ok, the food seems kinda generic tex mex, nothing special. The service is ok. It seems like it doesnt belong in a casino setting to me, it's kinda dark, at least the section we sat in was. I wasn't impressed. Also the prices were crazy high for the amount of food you get. Go to any other Mexican restaurant and it'shalf the price.
