We left Kansas without breakfast and the options were slim to none off I35. Seeing the reviews, we drove off our route to stop at Mary’s Grill. Well worth the highway exit! A really good breakfast of bacon, eggs and all the extras, like gravy and biscuit! You will not be disappointed in the good food and really nice atmosphere.

By far the worst service I've had had a diner. Make sure you check your receipts because they like to charge you for things u didn't order or things that are supposed to come with the order and when asked they will act like your the problem for wanting what you paid for. Its sad they would take advantage of my elderly father in law and charge him extra charges for things he never received. Makes me wonder how many others are being overcharged in the same fashion without their knowledge. I understand people have bad days and that is completely reasonable but it wasn't the first time it's happened hence why we asked this time and the response we got from your staff was uncalled for. We even told them on the phone because it wasn't the first time we have been overcharged. The younger waitress walked away in the middle of asking about the charge. Your seasoned manager literally raised her voice and tossed our refund on the counter and didn't even try to deescalate the situation. She wasn't even present to know the situation became hostile towards us just because your new waitress got upset for the mistake they made. I understand your gonna believe your employees and customers overreact but no one was rude enough to justify the response we got. I appreciate you reading this and I wholeheartedly hope the problem gets fixed I know you probably don't care that you lost a few customers over this but I know we aren't the only ones who had that kind of issue but other than that your cooks are awesome it was just the service that was the issue.

The staff is very rude, inconsistent, and unprofessional. Used to not be. Also, you better read your receipts carefully, they'll try to charge you extra for something that's included with your meal, at no extra cost. I proceeded to tell them of their mistake (clearly I am upset, I ain't gonna be happy about that), but then they get mad at me, storm off, and say I was the one being rude. Are you kidding me? You just charged me $7 for stuff I didn't even ask for, let alone get. Then, still proceeded to give me the wrong amount back. With even more attitude. I was so tired of it. I just left. You can't tip yourselves. Gotta earn that. Y'all definitely didn't. Can't believe y'all would try to get extra money out of my father! Very disappointed.

Mary's Grill is a Tonkawa tradition. I was born in '41. Moved away in '47. Visited grandparents until mid '50s. In the mid-70s my wife, sons, and I drove through and stopped at Mary's. I walked in and the owner said "Hi. Aren't you one of the Woodruff boys?" They were right. That's Tonkawa.

While working at NOC today, not only did I attend and partake in Mary’s month of July Meatloaf Special Wednesday for lunch, I went by on my way home back to OKC and had the Meatloaf Special for dinner. And since that was not enough, I ordered 4-slices of that famous Meatloaf, along with 4 of their homemade dinner rolls to enjoy over this 4-day-weekend! That's 4-4-4 for the 4th of July weekend! Yep, I’ll be ready for more Meatloaf next Wednesday! Gotta get my fill before the end of July!
