“Late lunch on a Saturday. The waitress was very nice and friendly. Offered menu suggestions and was very helpful. Hubby got their chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes & green beans. It was huge and it all tasted delicious! I got a hamburger with sweet potatoes fries. Also delicious! Hubby got a cinnamon roll with coffee. She made a fresh pot for him. We took home a slice of apple and chocolate cream pies. All were made at the local bakery next door. All were really good!! We would definitely eat here again!!!”

“This place was such an unexpected surprise! Upon entering the waiter greeted us immediately and instructed us to sit wherever we preferred. Soon after he took our drink orders and gave us menus and wiped down our table. Minutes later he came to take our orders. We ordered a lot expecting the food to be not that good, that way we had options and didn't leave hungry. We ordered 2 appetizers the spring rolls and fried shrimp. They both were delicious. We ordered sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and an egg roll and a 3rd entrée of pork lo mein, everything on our plates were plentiful, hot, fresh and delicious! The service was fast and friendly. The place was packed, all but one table was full the entire time we were there! And amazingly there wasn't a "crowded feeling." Everyone seemed to know everyone. It was overall an upbeat, happy, delicious experience! All this for less than $50.00! We'll definitely make the trip back to Tonkawa!”

The food was all delicious and fresh, and the folks behind the counter were so kind and friendly. They provided quick and polite service, they doted on our kids, they checked in to make sure we enjoyed the food...I don't think I've ever had such notably great service at a fast food place before! “What a great place! passing through Blackwell, Spotted the sign and pulled in, I know exactly what I wanted. The owner was Working.as good a thin crust sausage pizza as I’ve ever had. I live in the Houston area so I’ve got all the pizza selections I want. Y’all are lucky to have a great little hometown pizza joint.”

“Cute diner with friendly staff. Reasonably priced, lost of breakfast options. Daily specials, which looked awesome. We were here for breakfast. I ordered 1 egg with bacon, hashbrowns, and pancake. Bacon was good, very tasty, eggs were OK, and hasbrowns were too crisp and dry for me. Pancake was amazing. My husband ordered 1 egg, sassuage, and hasbrowns with a side of gravy. He said his was good. The total price was 16.00 as we had two coffees also. What a great value. Would love to come back for the daily specials.”

“We were in Blackwell visiting from out of state. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The food was fantastic and far better quality than what we ever get in Topeka. “The buffet wasn't expansive, but was offered to place any menu item on the buffet, which was done. Super clean, super friendly. The young adults working there were quite gracious and accommodating. They really added to the overall pleasantness of the experience. The salad bar was the usual affair. The pizza was fantastic. A crackly thin crust was appreciated! The ham and pineapple was superb, as was the chicken and bacon. The only disappointment was that Pepsi products were featured, and no Coca Cola items were offered. Would definitely recommend to others.”
