Akira Sushi & Ramen Reviews
Heed the warnings about the ramen… it’s terrible.
The pork belly was lacking flavor and any sear texture. The Ajitsuke egg was way over cooked, and not even gooey. It was a little weird to have a hard boiled egg in ramen. Broth was good, but overall disappointing. For this price, the ramen should be assembled with care. I felt sad eating this.
Absolutely loved the sushi rolls and Gyoza but not too impressed with the ramen. Well the ramen was good but I didn't care for the broth ... if the broth was better tasting the entire meal would have been phenomenal 😋

Akira Sushi & Ramen, located in Mother Road Market, offers a variety of flavorful ramen dishes. Visitors praise the generous portions of protein like chicken and pork belly in their bowls. The tonkotsu ramen is highlighted for its rich taste, and the salmon sashimi impresses with its creamy texture. Customers often choose the Tonkotsu Ramen, which they find very good, with the best pork belly and bamboo shoots. Some note that the broth may not be as robust as in other cities, and the eggs are not soft-boiled. Despite this, the chashu is well-flavored, and additional toppings like bamboo and nori add depth to the dishes. Many customers also enjoy the exotic rolls such as the cowboy roll, Cajun roll, and OMG roll, praising their crazy flavor profiles. The crab Rangoon is noted for having more crab flavor than most, with a satisfying crunch. The food is prepared quickly, and the atmosphere is friendly, making it a popular spot for those craving a satisfying ramen meal. Overall, Akira Sushi & Ramen remains a friendly place with delicious options for ramen lovers.
