Our server was fantastic and had a great demeanor. He definitely knew when to ask questions, being attentive, without being overbearing. It was a great balance. The food was amazing. I've had fried plantains before and could take or leave them normally, but these were the best I've ever had. It was like a side dessert with my meal. The street corn was great. I had the pork with mango sauce and I loved it. My date had the jerk chicken and ate every bite (I didn't even get a taste!) along with the red beans and rice. I cannot wait to go back and I'm getting the jerk chicken!”

Had the Caribbean habanero wings along with blue-cheese as dressing. I thought the spiciness would be ok but it blew my mind and expectations. This was one of the hottest wings I have tried recently. The flavor was good too.

“Went on Monday for a private party, as a person who doesn’t eat animals had really no expectations of getting something beside salad and bread. Was pleasantly surprised with the dish the chef came up with. Wish I had the thought to take a picture, but it was a cohesive inventive dish that was yummy. It had a “risotto” type base, with finely sliced veg in what I think were cabbage leaves, with a spicy tomato sauce. Not sure if a vegan ends up there on a normal night, what they can get, but it was great to have a good meal that the party.”

“Waffle House never disappoints!!!

This year, for my birthday, all I wanted was to enjoy a nice Waffle House dinner with the family! We had a group of over 10 people, and we were all well accommodated! The restaurant was nice and clean. There was zero wait time. The staff was kind and respectful. The food was quick, hot, fresh, and delicious!

I personally ordered the Texas Cheesesteak Melt with a side of Hashbrowns scattered and covered. For those who don't know, "scattered" is spread out on the grill to get crispy and "covered" with melted cheese. You can also get them "smothered" cooked with onions, "chunked" with ham, or even "country" topped with gravy. Then, of course, I also had to have a Waffle House waffle on the side with a cup of coffee!

Overall, our experience was great! The Waffle House is my absolute favorite American Diner! This location is the first ever Waffle House I visited as a child, so it was memorable being able to return to it in my 30's and share it with my own child! We even got to play some tunes on the jukebox during our meal! My Auntie bought me the waffle house mug as a souvenir for my birthday to add to my coffee mug collection! I couldn't have been happier!

Awesome by the way but what topped it off was the chef asking if I wanted to try the chili cheese hot dog for free. You can't beat that. I don't care what any negative review says they lied. This place lives up to the hype. He's humble and always listens to his customer. Alot of restaurants in this area could learn from him.”

We also tried the spicy poblano eggs Benedict. That was really good! Everything else was just...standard. One server was awesome, the other was "eh". We had a big group btw. They also set up 10 chairs for our 12 person group, that was more funny than anything though lol. I'll be back! But it's honestly not my first choice for family outtings.”

“I arrived shortly after 9:00 am so I was one of less than a dozen diners. I was seated promptly and was provided ample hot coffee. A good start. My split decision breakfast combo order was delivered within 20 minutes and hot syrup added. It was delicious and more than I could eat. I’m going back again if I can find it.”

“The GF pizza crust is not very good. The regular pizzas are usually pretty good but they don’t Travel well and get soggy the next day. The antipasto appetizer is delicious. Wide selection of beers. Any of the pizzas can be made on GF crust but they only come in one size (small).”

So we decided to go back for the 10 course meal. It was a stellar experience in every way. The chefs came out and answered questions about the dishes and if I were to try to describe each course I would run out of superlatives. Out of the 10 courses only the hamachi (yellowtail) missed the mark. The star of the meal was the watermelon tataki, it was an explosion of taste and smell that was absolutely divine. “Just had another great experience at the French Hen. This place is a really nice oasis from the hustle and bustle. We had a fantastic server, Sarah (sp?). She read the table perfectly and really took care of us as we were out to have a nice visit friends to catch up and enjoy a great meal. One of the specials was the lamb chops. Cooked exactly as I asked with a beautiful presentation. I might move up to medium rare now that I know I can trust them to cook as requested. I tasted the ossobuco and it was amazing. The room is great. Reservation was honored on time and we were seated immediately. Both the cocktail list and the wine list was well thought out and it was easy to find a match for the mea. Dessert was tough because there were multiple great choices. We had the cheesecake and the brûlée. Both had great flavor and obviously cooked in house. I will definitely return (they have a great lunch as well) and I highly recommend the French Hen.”
