I had the Mardi Gras Pasta, 10/10 very good and it was before closing so less busy in general…”

“A Small Deli with a Lot to Offer!I had no idea this little Deli even existed. I stumbled across the very favorable reviews, which are almost as hidden on the internet as the Deli’s location. It is found closer to Catoosa than Tulsa but, the restaurant has a Tulsa address. It is very easy to find on east Pine just east of N. 166 East Ave in an industrial area. [Today the Catoosa Police had radar set up just east of the Deli. I saw him before he saw me thanks to the radar detector. Point is, watch your speed on Pine St in this area. This area is a speed trap!]The owner Mr. Omar Shaban and one of his sons were working the counter. I had a chance to visit with him. He has years of experience in the restaurant industry as a previous owner of one of Tulsa’s Bill and Ruth’s Sub shops. The building he now operates in was recently a Subway. Mix all that with Mr. Shaban’s Middle Eastern heritage and it pretty well explains the menu! The Deli offerings range from loaded baked potatoes, chili, spaghetti, salads, Subs, Gyros, etc. etc. and the typical Mediterranean sides. It is small shop with a big varied menu. The bread for the Subs are baked in house! Oh! and Baklava! Don’t forget the Baklava! He was really bragging about his Chili, so I will be back to give it a tryWe had the Gyro Platter and added grape leaves. It had a large portion of gyro meat, rice, tzatziki, tabouli, hummus, olives and pita. Everything on the plate was perfect! What really stood out was the delicious gyro meat and the wonderful freshness of the sides made daily.Very good food served up by pleasant friendly people!”
“This is a cozy establishmrnt. They have "the most choices" ive ever seen in 1 establishment. Its like the mall food court in 1 establishment. Foods, American, Italian, Mexican, Muslim, Indian, Greek and Im sure theres more then thease 6 ive named. They even have a hugh spud/potato menu as well. I actually was surprized when I recognized people who worked here from when I was a waitress for another esrablishment. The employees are very kind & attenative to customers. We were given 3 sm, desserts. The restaurant is well maintained. I totally RECCCOMMEND EVERYONE TO GO HERE AT LEAST ONCE. They also have catfish and shrimp. A shrimp basket was around $12. Which is a great deal.Kid-friendliness: Yes, kid-friendly, yes. A great family establishment. The tables and booths are decent size, and really, nothing roudy kids can break. I wouldn't call it romantic or anything like that. We were a lively and sometimes rambunctious group and the waitress met our energy and was very accommodating and warm towards us. Food was excellent and fresh. This is one of the very few, if not the only place I can say where they have a variety of food where it is all delicious. Owner is super nice and so accommodating that I have to take a trip here every time I'm in town.Everyone's taste is different, but my favorites here are the Singapore noodles (freaking amazing), Pad Thai (they put their own twist to it and it's so good), Volcano roll (or even any sushi rolls), and their poke. I've had Pad Thai from freaking Thailand and I would prefer how they do the Pad Thai here. I can go on and on with this review, but definitely check this place out. It is so underrated I think and they truly deserve more recognition!”

For appetizers we had Crab Rangoon & Fried Dumplings, i wasn’t able to try the dumplings but based on how my dad was humming to himself i would say they were pleased with them. The Rangoons were DELICIOUS! I loved them so much the only complaint i have was i ate them too fast. For my entree i did a bowl of egg drop soup and a portion of the honey chicken. the egg drop soup was very home-y and delicious! exactly what i was wanting from it. My parents thought it needed salt but personally i thought it was perfect as is. The honey chicken is genuinely the best honey chicken i’ve had in oklahoma, the outside layer is super crispy and crunchy despite the honey glaze that goes on it. it’s almost like it’s candied. All entrees came out together and were perfect. The music was a little loud but not bothersome. The food is expensive, but you get what you pay for with fine quality and generous portions. We chose a bottle of French Cabernet and a New Zealand Sav Blanc that were both excellent. Overall it was an impressive experience for our out of town guests from North Carolina and Texas. I’m vegan and gluten free even though they offer a vegan option (cauliflower), it’s deep fried in wheat batter. I could only eat two of the six but they were delicious! I also ordered a boneless combo with garlic parmesan flavor and another one with honey sriracha seasoning, kids said they enjoyed them both.The spot is smaller but there’s seating available via low booths and high-top tables. “I've been visiting Tacos Don Francisco for over a decade and I love it every time. It's a total hole in the wall that serves authentic street cuisine at very affordable prices. Any of the taco options are a solid choice and the quesadillas are fantastic. If you've never been there, the menu can be a little confusing because it hasn't been updated in years. If you can, bring someone who's been there before or be a little familiar with typical taqueria menus. Most of the employees seem to speak English now; that wasn't always the case 10 years ago. They're also open late on most days so that's a bonus for the after party crowd. As a precaution, you may want to check with your cardiologist before selecting the burger you eat!They have some kind of secret magic going on with their battering process for their onion rings and fried jalapenos. That’s probably the other reason their onion rings and jalapenos taste so good! The regular cheese burger came with all the usual condiments on the side and fries. It was a great burger and a pile of fresh fried potatoes.The chili cheese burger was a plate of food. Good burger patty and good chili. The chili had nice spice, but was mild on the heat. I knew I couldn’t eat it all and the jalapeno onion rings too. So, I intentionally quit half way through the burger, because I wanted to focus on the onion rings and jalapenos! I couldn’t finish those either.Very nice waitresses. I asked her about the name “Knotty Pig” in relation to the old Knotty Pine Barbeque restaurant that was in Sand Springs eons ago. She confirmed that many of the recipes from the old Knotty Pine were indeed in use there. She brought us a sample of the BBQ sauce that was made from the recipe of the old Knotty Pine. It is important to me that the ingredients are fresh and of high quality. KEO meets the bill. All beef is wagyu, even the hamburger which they grind in house.Usually, I don't go to an asian restaurant for a hamburger, but I will take a KEO hamburger over almost any other place in town. I usually order one of their Thai dishes, Thai sweet basil is perfect. It comes without heat, but you can order heat level 1-5. Level three is where they add fresh hot peppers. If 5 isn't hot enough they will bring you a small cup of fresh sliced peppers. Usually they have ghost peppers or Carolina reapers. Those will make your head sweat!!KEO also has great soups, ramen, pho, tom yum and tom kai.In the stir fry section there are many choices, all of them are great.For those that like steak , they also have a killer ribeye.”

The atmosphere was nice and my server was pleasant. My only concern would be how long it took to get my food. It was around 2:30 in the afternoon, with very few customers, and took more than 20 minutes to get my food. I don't know how that will translate to a busy evening shift, but I will find out as I am definitely going back. The potstickers were delectable! “A Small Deli with a Lot to Offer!I had no idea this little Deli even existed. I stumbled across the very favorable reviews, which are almost as hidden on the internet as the Deli’s location. It is found closer to Catoosa than Tulsa but, the restaurant has a Tulsa address. It is very easy to find on east Pine just east of N. 166 East Ave in an industrial area. [Today the Catoosa Police had radar set up just east of the Deli. I saw him before he saw me thanks to the radar detector. Point is, watch your speed on Pine St in this area. This area is a speed trap!]The owner Mr. Omar Shaban and one of his sons were working the counter. I had a chance to visit with him. He has years of experience in the restaurant industry as a previous owner of one of Tulsa’s Bill and Ruth’s Sub shops. The building he now operates in was recently a Subway. Mix all that with Mr. Shaban’s Middle Eastern heritage and it pretty well explains the menu! The Deli offerings range from loaded baked potatoes, chili, spaghetti, salads, Subs, Gyros, etc. etc. and the typical Mediterranean sides. It is small shop with a big varied menu. The bread for the Subs are baked in house! Oh! and Baklava! Don’t forget the Baklava! He was really bragging about his Chili, so I will be back to give it a tryWe had the Gyro Platter and added grape leaves. It had a large portion of gyro meat, rice, tzatziki, tabouli, hummus, olives and pita. Everything on the plate was perfect! It looks like the inside of an upscale New Orleans restaurant. Chippers has added bright panels of modern art and the smooth sound of soft jazz in the background. Not the bright sterile environment of a chain restaurant. Nope. Chippers is a local business, serving food from recipes originated by the owner, a preacher, and managed by his daughter.There is a sign on the front door explaining that “the restaurant is short staffed, so please be patient.” Even with that restriction, the service wasn’t terribly slow. I would call it friendly, and comfortably adequate.The menu is large and enticing. Choosing the meal was challenging. My wife and I both went for different versions of the fried catfish. For her the catfish Po’boy and for me the two-piece plate. Both meals ordered with fries and slaw. The Po’boy came with a small sampling of the slaw and my plate had a large cup. I thought the slaw was good. My wife is finicky about her coleslaw. She didn’t really care for it. Both plates had a good serving of fresh seasoned fries and two large slabs of perfectly fried catfish. The Po’boy had the sub style roll and condiments to assemble the sandwich. With that much fish, it was almost impossible to manage it as a sandwich. Also on the Po’boy, was Chippers ”Peach Zaza.” It is a sweet, smoky sauce that you wouldn’t expect be paired with fried catfish. It was delicious. The waiter said that they use it on their ribs. Check their web site. They have a listing of their unique sauces.I read a review where a diner complained about the saltiness of the food. This is a valid opinion, depending upon your sensitivity to salt. As stated on the menu “All Seafood Will Be Baptized in “Sweet Jesus” A Honey Lemon Glaze or “Our Love Seasoning” Which is Our Dry Seasoning.” I chose the “Our Love Seasoning” which is an excellent salt-based blend of spices. The salt was prominent. I didn’t think it was excessive, but if you are on a salt restricted diet, you may want to go with the glaze and avoid the Love Seasoning. I had no complaint, but I salt all fried foods anyway. One last comment about the catfish. The corn meal coating was about as perfect as any I have had. It was thin, light and fried to a perfect golden crisp.I have eaten a good amount of Cajun and southern style cooking, but not in Tulsa. I’m not sure what is available, if any. “Very nice interesting place to go. On the small side and very busy for a Wednesday night. Wife and I on dinner date for quiet evening. This place, as we found out, definitely not quiet. It echos the noise all throughout. As for the food. We had beef wellington, spinach dip, chalkboard salad, and braised short rib. The flavor of all products was fantastic. Unfortunately everything served room temperature. The side were almost cold. A disappointment considering the price point. We will try again as we had a good experience”

“Excellentservice and food. Their newly introduced Bonut and the sticky biscuit are must try. Hands down the best biscuits. They say you gotta try them loaded and that’s definitely true. Breakfast burrito and cinnamon pancakes were also really good.”

“I wish I could rate this restaurant 6-star if the system allowed. Delicious food. Every thing we ordered is beyond our expectations. Fast food style but quality is better than most big restaurants. The staffs are warm, polite and considerable, offering extra tortillas before we thought about it. Salad bars are clean and fresh with unlimited supplies. No doubt we will come back again with more friends when we visit Sacramento area in the future.”
