By the time we reached Tulsa, we were ready for dinner and a pint—somewhere comfortable, not a generic hotel restaurant or a national chain. We wanted a place with character, and Kilkenny’s delivered in every way. Irish pubs can be hit or miss—sometimes they feel more like themed set pieces than actual places. But Kilkenny’s felt authentic from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was excellent, and the pint selection hit the spot. What truly made the experience memorable, though, was the staff. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the manager even came over to chat with us. They made us feel right at home. Before we left, they handed us a Kilkenny’s pint glass to take with us—a small gesture, but it made a big impression. It was the perfect first stop for our journey: a relaxed, genuine local place where we could wind down, eat well, and feel like we’d found something special. “Great place for a delicious and filling breakfast. I had one of the skillets. Maybe the sunrise skillet. I got the hash browns deep fried so they came out crispy. It also came with two slices of toast. White, wheat, rye or sourdough. My friend got the country fried pork chops, came with eggs and a biscuit with gravy and then he ordered a side of French toast. Everything was spot on. Quick, friendly service. I asked for two bowls for my leftovers and waitress was kind enough to bring me a fresh bowl of gravy and two to go drinks.“

The dining room was cozy, comfortable, quiet and classy. Creme brûlée was also really good.
