By the time we reached Tulsa, we were ready for dinner and a pint—somewhere comfortable, not a generic hotel restaurant or a national chain. We wanted a place with character, and Kilkenny’s delivered in every way. Irish pubs can be hit or miss—sometimes they feel more like themed set pieces than actual places. But Kilkenny’s felt authentic from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was excellent, and the pint selection hit the spot. What truly made the experience memorable, though, was the staff. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the manager even came over to chat with us. They made us feel right at home. “Right away greeted by a friendly host, Julie. This was our first time here and Dre who had our table was awesome. Prices to portions made this very generous. The food was hot and delicious. She said she had a surprise for us. We were given a free cinnamon bun the size of a birthday cake and we each got a free slice of pie. My wife and daughter had the onion rings and fried mushrooms and loved them. I had eggs over, bacon, French toast and fruit. Wife had a smokehouse burger and salad and my daughter had a ½ pound burger and salad. We took so much home with us. The entire experience was excellent. Each and every time we come to Tulsa we will be at the Silver Skillet and telling everyone about it.“

This is not a cheap steakhouse to take a random date, this a steakhouse that you take the important person to. Look for the door and welcome to elegance. To clarify, this is not a cheap steakhouse go ahead and take the Uber, it's downtown parking.“

My sister and her family lived in Hawaii and my best friend in the Navy was raised in Hawaii, so I know what I like! Couldn’t decide between my fave kalua pork or katsu chicken so I got the half and half plate so I could have both! I also got a spam musubi to try and steamed veggies. The macaroni salad was amazing and so was all of the food. If only they had Ahi poke I would just go to food coma heaven.“

“What is there not to love about Dead Armadillo? I was introduced to this little gem through my rescue (Oklahoma Pet Collective Society) which DA helps support. I admit, I typically hate beer. The only beer drink I’ve EVER actually liked came from DA; it’s their pickle beer (literally so good) mixed with a special Bloody Mary mix. Out of this world. The outside back garden/dog park area is the best in Tulsa. This is a really great little place to just chill and relax and have some fun with friends and family, including the furry members.“
