“First visit to Ridge Cantina for us and some friends. Enjoyed the upscale atmosphere and the remarkable food! We raise our own beef, and my husband grew up raising registered Angus cattle . . . we know our beef . . . and the cantina's is excellent! Awesome fajitas and nachos (all beef). Don't miss the dessert Empanada!“

“Husband got me tickets to P!nk and we stopped here for dinner first. Great decision. We didn’t have reservations but there were a couple of people more than 20 minutes late for theirs and we got a table pretty quickly. We got the guacamole appetizer. I had the trout and husband had the rib fajitas. Husband had the classic margarita and I tried the bloodmoon margarita - blackberry & pear. Everything was super delicious! I am allergic to milk and wheat and the waitress knew her stuff and made several suggestions. Husband got the tres leche. Let me just say that all our plates were clean. It is set up so that it feels like an intimate restaurant, but we were done in less than an hour on a. Friday night.“

The service was outstanding. Wish you were in Arlington. We eat the whole metroplex and no one beats you. We will stop again if we are back this way. Five stars“

“I love this place! We are now making plans to come to Tulsa just to visit El Super Taco. There are several locations in the Fort Smith area, but when we moved away, we thought that experience was gone. I just happened to see a story on Instagram and found this little treasure. The portion sizes aren't as big as the Arkansas locations, but they are still very generous, and the taste is something you can only get from El Super Taco. The staff was very friendly and there is a nice covered seating area outside. Insider tips - ask for some lime wedges to squeeze over the rice, and if you specifically ask for it, you can try the red and green sauce. The green is super spicy but a definite experience. Go here!“

“Breakfast at EGGcellent & Things Cafe
First things first, a quick shoutout to our awesome server, Emma, who made our breakfast experience smooth and enjoyable. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks, Emma!
Now, onto the food!
I ordered the corned beef hash with sourdough toast and avocado on the side—and WOW, this dish delivered! The chopped potatoes were perfectly balanced with tender corned beef, and the toast was crispy on one side and warm and buttery on the other -- just right! Oh, and the hollandaise sauce? Amazing. Smooth, rich, and flavorful, with just the right little kick—it elevated every bite!
My wife went for the steak and eggs (poached, of course), and it was cooked to perfection. The steak was tender and flavorful, and her poached eggs were exactly what you'd hope for—delicate whites with velvety yolks. She loved the hollandaise sauce just as much as I did, adding it to just about everything on her plate.
Our younger son was all about those Mickey Mouse pancakes with whipped cream, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, and sausage links. The pancake was fluffy and golden, and the whipped cream made it a total kid-pleaser. He gave it two sticky thumbs up!
Meanwhile, our older son went straight for the chicken and waffles. The waffle was light and airy, the fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, and together, they hit that perfect sweet-and-savory combo. He cleaned his plate in record time—always a good sign!
Our son's friend kept it classic with a chocolate chip waffle, scrambled eggs, and bacon. That waffle? Loaded with melty chocolate chips and just the right amount of sweetness. Add the crispy bacon and fluffy eggs, and you've got yourself a solid breakfast winner.
And did I mention the portions? Generous across the board!
All in all, EGGcellent & Things Cafe really lived up to its name. Cozy vibes, fantastic food, and stellar service. We’ll definitely be back—and next time, we might just order extra hollandaise!

“I have a partiality for, mom and pop Mexican restaurants operated in “hole in the wall” venues. They are especially easy to discover in Oklahoma. The best part is sampling the variations of common Mexican dishes prepared “home style” by the owners. And here we have” La Flama.”
The interior and furnishings at La Flama are well worn. The service is fast and friendly. The chips had been under the heat lamp for way too many hours, the salsa very fresh and delicious. Our meals were the Grilled Chicken Enchiladas and the San Lucas Chicken. Both were unique presentations. The enchiladas were corn tortillas dipped in red sauce filled with a very small amount of chopped grilled chicken, folded, with a liberal amount of more chopped grilled chicken on top. The San Lucas Chicken, was a thin chicken breast with a mild chipotle sauce, covered with melted mozzarella cheese, and a bonus of three grilled shrimp. Both meals were freshly prepared, mildly seasoned.
Californicated Mexican food, it is not. Not quite what I would call OkieMex either. My best guess is home style AUTHINIC Mexican food. I make this clarification up front so, if you are expecting OkieMex you may be disappointed. If you are looking for food biased more toward authentic, give it a try.
If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection "Jalapeno Highway" by Spike S. on Yelp. I've probably been there.“

“My wife and I went to this place after we went shopping at the farmers market. We ordered the Chilaquiles and the Mexican spiced French toast. I took my first bite of the French toast and I literally cried tears. I am not even a sweets person in the morning but the flavor’s exploded in my mouth. So amazing! The chilaquiles were authentic and AMAZING! The chorizo was perfect and the homemade horchata and lemonade was super. The staff are all very warm and friendly and I will definitely be back to support this restaurant. Thank you for one of the best cultural food experiences in Tulsa.“

“Did not know that Taco Bueno was no longer there. But, we were already in the parking lot. You could clearly tell that they had just opened for business. So. Don't knock it til you've tried it. Don't judge it's food by it's cover. I was very impressed and very satisfied with the meal I chose and the quantity and quality. It's well worth the money. Can't wait to see what they do with the place. Food is awesome! Customer service was too! Will be sharing this on my blog.“

“No desayuno!
Looking for a Huevos Rancheros this morning at any Mexican restaurant we have not tried in Tulsa. Restaurante & Taqueria Doña Carmelita was on the list. Unfortunately, a strike out. We walked in when the doors opened at 10AM. The cooks were busy behind the counter preparing today's lunch buffet line up. The food smelled magnificent and it looked as good…. But no breakfast is served.
A spacious restaurant, that can handle a crowd. The food is served up cafeteria style. There is a menu board that shows a few other options not available on the buffet. I don’t normally like buffet style Mexican restaurants because I don’t know what most of the items in the line up are. Everything looks so delicious here. It is worth a trip back for lunch. But I am looking for breakfast this morning.
On to plan B, Los Primos.

“if you plan on getting food from here, get it to go. they make their own tortillas in house which are delicious, but the machine they use makes a NON-STOP screeching noise that'll make your ears bleed.
Other than that one con, the food is amazing. hands down some of the best authentic Mexican food you'll ever and for the amount of money you pay, you definitely get your money's worth.“

Restaurant and bathrooms were clean which was a plus. And the girl at the register was super friendly and helpful with ordering since I have never been here before. Definitely recommend for a quick delicious bite. Even ordering a to-go meal to bring to a friend now.“

“Hands down our favorite Mexican Restaurant in the greater Tulsa area. Ask for their spicy salsa -- if you're brave you can go straight, or do what I do and amp up their regular salsa. We have had practically everything on their menu, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend.“
