“I wish I could rate this restaurant 6-star if the system allowed. Delicious food. Every thing we ordered is beyond our expectations. Fast food style but quality is better than most big restaurants. The staffs are warm, polite and considerable, offering extra tortillas before we thought about it. Salad bars are clean and fresh with unlimited supplies. No doubt we will come back again with more friends when we visit Sacramento area in the future.“
“Went for the first time last night. Food was really good and the owner is a super nice guy. Ended up staying for 45 minutes just talking with the owner who was extremely welcoming. You can tell he cares about his customers experience and I genuinely appreciate that.“
“If you want abundant, delicious, warm food, thus is your go yo. This place it is amazing. They do Doordarsh, but they have their app as well. The 3 leches cakes pecan is addictive and decadent, is nice for dine in, quick for lunch, or for pick up. The front desk lady is really nice and food it is amazing. You should try it!!! Asada fries and tacos are delicious. Mexican here, and I'm telling you real street tacos, and the spicy avocado salsa is for dying.“
“Not only was this the best Tex-Mex I've ever had as an elevated Mexican restaurant, but the staff was awesome enough to photo bomb us with out our knowledge. I think that is the funniest surprise in a photo I've had yet lol. You guys are truly awesome!“
“I've been visiting Tacos Don Francisco for over a decade and I love it every time. It's a total hole in the wall that serves authentic street cuisine at very affordable prices. Any of the taco options are a solid choice and the quesadillas are fantastic. If you've never been there, the menu can be a little confusing because it hasn't been updated in years. If you can, bring someone who's been there before or be a little familiar with typical taqueria menus. Most of the employees seem to speak English now; that wasn't always the case 10 years ago. They're also open late on most days so that's a bonus for the after party crowd. If you're in Tulsa and you want tacos, this is the place to go!Wheelchair accessibility: They now have a wheelchair ramp.“
“We have a big family so we ordered several different things. All were delicious! The pork tacos with pickled onions, the steak torta, the flautas in consome, and the asada waffle fries were the top finishers. The salsas are excellent too. Should have taken a better pic before we dug in. It’s all gone now. We will definitely be back!Kid-friendliness: We didn’t hold anything on the dishes and our kiddos enjoyed it all! There are some benches and a couple of tables with a cover above if you would like to eat there.“
“Much nicer place than I expected, certainly for the area and neighborhood, it is located! The beef taco, the meat tasted just right on!I can smell and taste the crunchiness and fresh salad. The white queso, was thick and flavorful! The rice n refried beans were excellent too!The server came and asked if I want anything to drink, I said “margarita”, but where is it? It is not on the menu. He said that is on the “drink” menu. I ordered the Margarita, medium size. He looks at me kinda strange. The steps aside and pointed his finger to another table and said that is a “bambino” over there! That is the little “bambino” there ?!!!!!Really!Holy Molly!Parking: Come and check what seem to me is new gravel parking in the back of the restaurant!“
“Tello's is our FAVORITE local Mexican restaurant!! It's right in our neighborhood, and the food is fantastic! Service has always been amazing and swift! The food is fresh and flavorful, and the best top shelf quacomole in Tulsa! Tello's is a truly authentic Mexican grill!!Vegetarian options: I can completely recommend the vegetarian enchiladas! Don't forget that top shelf quacomole! ?“
“Really good food and service. So far, classic beef and the habanero mango chicken are my fav. Puffy tortilla, chips and guac, and the hot sauce....yum, yum, yummy!! The tacos are filling and loaded with goodness. I always get the two-taco combo, and every time, 1/2 way thru the 2nd, I wish I would have just gotten the one-taco combo....but I power thru. HA! Too tasty to waste. Love this place!!“
“German is the best damn waiter they have. We go every Thursday night. He is our waiter. Our food is always excellent. He makes a mean drink and he’s very attentive to every parts of our needs through the house the whole evening if you get a chance, you ask German. And tell him Ruthie said hi.“
“Great casual downtown spot with indoor and outdoor seating (pups allowed on patio). They have a fab happy hour with $5 margs. I love their shrimp & slaw and get it just about every time I go! Shoutout to our server Lucky - my husband, 15 of his coworkers and I took over half the restaurant, and he handled every single order without a hitch! Love going here and will be back soon.Vegetarian options: There is a vegan item on the menu and a few items can be made vegan upon requestParking: Parking on site is free unless there is an event at BOK center“
“Consistently my favorite taco truck for the past 3 years. Delicious and always FRESH ingredients. The owner and all of the various employees I've encountered are truly top tier folks who obviously to take great pride in their product and in the relationships they foster with the community that supports them.Try the Torta De Pierna!“
“I'm from California and always looking for authentic Mexican food. This was good. I had two orders of the pork street tacos and i ordered 6 tamales. I ate the four tacos and was filled, my girlfriend who is Mexican didn't care for her tacos so she ate the tamales. They were good. She may have liked Asada, we'll try it next time.BTW this special came with four street tacos and a 32oz drink, $6.50“
“Words cannot convey how much I love El Rio Verde. Today will mark my second visit to this restaurant, cementing my stellar opinion of both the food and service. This is easily my favorite Mexican restaurant in Tulsa. If you're reading this and are new to this eatery, I'd recommend starting with a wet burrito or a shrimp enchilada. Honestly, though, you'll be safe with just about anything that you pick. For the salsa enthusiasts out there, ask for the "diablo" salsa... I underestimated it, just as you will. It's wonderful. Painfully wonderful. 5 stars all around.“
“My husband and I have been going to this Mexican food restaurant for more than 7 years, so far we have not found another in this city of Tulsa, that prepares such delicious and typical food of Mexican origin, (other places mix Tex-Méx ) In addition, the staff have always, always and always been friendly and have a smile for customers. Don't be carried away by some bad comments that have been left in the reviews and give yourself the opportunity to enjoy a good meal. Believe it or not, you will come back to enjoy it. Oh and if you are one of those who left a bad review because they didn't give you a discount, believe me, you went to the wrong place. Remember, we are not in Mexico ?? ??? Mr. And Mrs. WParking: I consider that parking is sufficient, it's just that there are still people who: either don't know how to park or they care very little and take up two spaces.“
“Most beautiful and authentic Mexican establishment i have found so far with a killer staff thats ontop of everything always kind, humble and treats me like a ?. If you are not eating here and trying their food especially the octopus ? then you are sadly missing out on pure happiness <3Parking: 60Wheelchair accessibility: There's only a 4-in lip that you would have to pick the wheelchair up over.“
“Paradigm shifting Mexican food; sensational salsas and magnificent moles. The two meals my wife and I had today, along with the salsas are dangerously on the edge of altering the Mexican food cosmos. The moles. The moles, wholly frikin’ cow the moles. The descriptions from the menu:Mole Poblano -Prepared from Fresh Chile Poblano, dried Pasilla & Ancho Chiles, Nuts, Spices, Seeds, Abuelita ChocolateAnd:Mole Pipian – A Traditional sauce from Oaxaca Prepared from toasted Pumpkin Seeds, Tomatillos, Fresh Chiles and a myriad of Spices. My wife and I both had the Stacked Enchiladas (“New Mexican style Enchiladas” or in Texas “Enchilada Casserole.”) For her Carne Asada w/ Mole Poblano and for me Shredded Chicken Adobo w/Mole Pipian.Rice on her plate, Mexican style corn on mine and black beans for both meals. The corn is amazing, do not pass it up. I could spend an hour assembling strings of adjectives to describe these meals. One word works; extraordinary! And the salsa, Wow. The house salsa is fair. Hiding in the kitchen are two others that you must try if you like good salsa. There is a smoky Chille de Arbol salsa and a green tomatillo salsa. The waitress brought us a sampling of each. We ordered a bowl of the Chille de Arbol. They cost extra, $2 a cup. My wife loved the green. The sample got her through this meal but next time it will be a bowl of each.I don’t really care about what else is on the menu.…I just don’t care. It’s a typical assemblage of some Mexican food. BUT…….. those Chef Select Tacos, specifically the Red Snapper Tacos, Chile-seared or Char Grilled are working in my brain right now, like the Siren Song.Eat Stacked Enchiladas with a Mole at the Ridge Cantina!Nice restaurant, great service from Jenna.A little pricy, but this ain’t a taco truck.“
“Oh the food here was wonderful! Quick service, attentive waiter but our meal stood out. Both sweetie and I had the Santa Fe. Huge portion of grilled chicken, beef flank steak, shrimp, onions and zucchini on top of a bed of rice with a delicious queso sauce. Perfection. No margarita tonight just sweet tea but they have an extensive choice of them. Extra perk of the dinner was live entertainment with a guitarist and a quinceanera party celebrating. Highly recommend for all those stated reasons!“
“The steak was flavorless but the soup was good with it. It needed more cilantro. Faijitas was good according to my kid lol my husband got a burger there is so much stuff on it he couldn’t eat half the burger because it fell apart soggy so definitely need to improve on food quality.“
“Ive not ate here YET, however HOPE DEALERZ does evangelism in the empty lot next door. Saturdays @4pm. This amazing business allows us the use of there restrooms. It is a clean, friendly business. Great enployees. I peeked at the menu today and actually meant to get dinner after HD, but I was tired after 3.5 hrs. I have heard other hope dealerz say the food is great here.Kid-friendliness: Non drug, non alcohol enviroment. Clean friendly workers.Wheelchair accessibility: Street level“
“Omg best tacos in town their burritos are huge and oh my God so good! Rice and beans is a must I tried to get the cook to tell me what they use to make it so good but he wouldn't budge lol definitely have to try if u haven't eaten there before!!!!!!!!!“
“Ike's Chili was the very first restaurant in the state of Oklahoma!!!If you check out the menu you will see they have so much more than chili. I was actually impressed with the options! This was my first trip to Ike's chili. We definitely will be returning. They have daily specials that change. I had the mac and cheese with chili and beans, it's called a 3-way. It was delicious and very filling I was barely able to finish my bowl. The chili was yummy!! No grease whatsoever. My husband had the chili with spaghetti. I think my three-way was much better!“
“We were greeted by a friendly host team, seated promptly and had a great server, as well as managers that checked on us throughout the night. Cocktails, fajitas, nachos and enchiladas tasted great. All food was wonderful and presentation was good. Shoutout to Tyler for providing truly top shelf service to us, from beginning to end! Made us laugh and took care of all 6 of our party seamlessly! Highly recommend.“
“A very good Mexican restaurant, with a history of recognition for its food and service.Cancun International’s salsas (hot and mild) are unrivaled by any Mexican restaurant in Tulsa. It is consistent in flavor and freshness, visit after visit and always delivers a perfect start to a meal.I had the best wet Chili Colorado Burrito in Tulsa and my wife had the #2 combo: enchilada, tamale and a taco. The tamale was shredded beef. The enchilada and taco were packed with ground beef. Everything was well seasoned. The refried beans really stood out. They were perfectly creamy smooth and flavorful. I could have eaten a bowl of them. The food is delicious! The proof of this claim is documented.I was amazed as I looked at all the recognition this restaurant has received. The walls are covered with newspaper and local magazine articles attesting to the quality of the food and service over its past 25 plus years of operation. Local diners have chosen Cancun as their favorite, year after year. If I lived in a nearby neighborhood, I would be eating here, way too often. The folks working in here were very nice. The restaurant is spotless. Every time I have been to Cancun the owner has been busy cleaning.Excellent, friendly service as always! An inconspicuous little restaurant that fills your plate with some of the best Mexican food in Oklahoma.Eat Mexican Food Here!“
“Recommended by my brother who lives in town and I don’t regret visiting! I’m not a Mexican food type of person but the food and drinks were great. The server was very attentive and kept up with our table. It wasn’t too crowded for a Friday night but majority of tables were occupied. S/N: I don’t think their Dr Pepper is Dr Pepper. Might be Pibb ?“
“Just had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Uncle Paco's Mexican Grill in Tulsa! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, the warm, vibrant atmosphere and the friendly staff welcomed us. The restaurant’s decor was beautifully inspired by traditional Mexican aesthetics, which added to the authenticity of the experience. The food was BEYOND incredible. We ordered the Carne Asada and Chicken Enchiladas, both of which were cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich, savory, and well balanced. The complimentary chips and salsa were also a hit, with the salsa having just the right amount of heat. What really stood out was their superb customer service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel at home. They were knowledgeable about the menu and helped us make great choices.Don't forget to try their margaritas! They were the perfect blend of sweet and tangy, and the tequila was smooth and well-paired.Not only does Uncle Paco's offer delicious food, but also an unforgettable dining experience. If you're in Tulsa and craving some authentic Mexican cuisine, Uncle Paco's Mexican Grill should definitely be on your list! ?#TulsaFoodie #MexicanCuisine #UnclePacosMexicanGrill“
“Be sure to try the Turkey Tail!It is all about the sauce. The enchilada sauce at Mamà Lencha’s is some of the best in Tulsa. I occasionally make my own red sauce from scratch. I have a good idea of the work involved and what is good and what is not. Mamà Lencha’s red sauce is superior perfection! Not that tomato based, from the can excuse for sauce that is served at many of the less quality restaurants. It is a simple sauce that delivers a complex flavor. It smothered the chopped steak filled enchiladas making for a beefy, savory mild chili pepper delight! The green sauce is of the same quality. Fresh tangy tomatillos made in to the perfect green delicious gravy to complement the grilled, chopped chicken. We got a chance to meet Mamà Lencha and complement her on her wonderful food. The friendly little lady was ear to ear in smiles when we to told her how much we loved the food and especially the enchilada sauce. She said they made it from scratch every day using the finest blend of dried peppers. Mamà Lencha operates two restaurants. This one on Mingo and the other on Memorial in a gas station. This one has been open about three years and the one on Memorial has been operating for about 11 years. Mamà runs a tight operation. The restaurant is clean, good friendly service and excellent food.As you may have figured by now, we had and order of red and an order of green enchiladas. They both come with beans and rice. I added a fiery chili toreado, so I could enjoy its heat both today and tomorrow. The have a mild green salsa and a spicy hot red sauce if you need them.Delicious food.Chips and salsa are an extra if you want them. Order at the counter and pick your food up at the counter.Turkey tails are indeed one of the meat options I have to try.If Mamà says it is Authentic Mexican, it is Authentic Mexican!!!“
“Good food and great customer service!11-28-2023, 12:00 PM, we went to Nieves for tacos, especially their fruit filled tacos for dessert. Greeted at the door by Mistie (the owner and jack-of-all-trades) and seated immediately. At my request, Mistie happily made salsa and guacamole (without Cilantro) for me. Keylie took our order of tacos and checked back often. Keylie jetted around the house just like Mistie! My bride and I ordered Mistie’s cherry tacos, mine Ala mode, for dessert—they were delicious! I also liked that the Hallmark channel was on their house televisions—tis the season!Wheelchair accessibility: Level - No stairs“
“This place was recommended to me by a friend and let me just say the barbacoa here SMACKSS it is so delicious. The lady who is very nice by the way & that makes the food was able to make me empanadas with barbacoa and it was delicious. The asada was pretty good as well. The jamaica is very good too and it seems like it was bottled up by the owners which is very cool. Will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend.“
“Found the food here to be very authentic and very reasonably priced. The owner was friendly and welcoming. They don't have website that I could find but a commerce page in Spanish. It appears they have a buffet during lunch with homemade stews and salsas which is kind of rarity for places like this. Not fancy decor and a very basic sit down area. There is a small grocery area and cooler on one side of the restaurant. Definitely worth a visit for lunch at the least. 4.5 stars.“
“Great food, great value, great music. Lots of options, too. They speak Spanish and English, so don't worry if you don't speak Spanish. My husband loves the chimichangas; I'm working my way through the menu and haven't had anything I haven't liked yet.*The chimichangas are consistently chimichangas. The flautas are sometimes tacos and sometimes taquitos.“
“Food was so delicious, the Mexican street corn side=? (not pictured, I got the borracho beans and they were also the bomb) and service was phenomenal! I will be making this a regular place now that I know how good it is. And everybody gets their own salsa!“
“Epic food!Have you ever been to a restaurant that serves up a dish and you get lost in the food you’re eating?Mary’s Tamales & More does just that! Hard to describe it, but this place is truly delicious! Unfortunately, I don’t live in Tulsa, but if I did, I would definitely visit again. Go with your instinct. You won’t be disappointed.Parking: Hand full of parking spots (~5) and they are TIGHT!“
“My new favorite place for authentic Mexican. Loved these queso birria tacos. The place was nice and clean and the server very nice. And I bought a pound of barbacoa meat to go also and it came with homemade corn tortillas, salsa, cilantro and “
“The most delicious chicken I’ve ever eaten at a taco y truck! I can’t get off it ? fast service even when they are packed! That’s because they are that good. They have three! One next to Taco Bell on Garnett and 19th. If you got south on gArnett past 21st right after the store at the lights on the right side, it’s a second one (always faster if other is packed) and one in the shopping center next to auto zone on 51st and Peoria. Best in the game!!!!!“
“I ate lunch with a friend at this restaurant last week.First, let me say, the food was very good. I would eat at this establishment again.Second, the host was exceptional, he was on top of it! Often times I recognized he was over compensating for some slack with the rest of the wait staff. Finally, the servers were okay, but not great. We asked for more salsa I think four times before we received more. If that was the only issue, no big deal, but it wasn’t. At one point, I asked for another set of silverware (I needed another napkin. - Birria though delicious, is very messy to eat.) The server flat out rolled his eyes at me. Incredibly disrespectful. Hence the two stars for service.“
“The food and the service were unbelievable, it is true Mexican cuisine. The flavors are unbelievable also. If I didn't live so far away I would probably eat there everyday.Parking: It's pretty much like any other restaurant you pull up and you go in.“
“Mr. Taco has been part of the Kendall Whitaker area for 20 + years. From the Originally named King Taco. Now Mr. Taco still serving the same great food. In larger than single serving items.Come try a king burrito , and don't forget to get thier in house saucese verdie , roho, and Moonie calaentia.“
“Me and my bride frequent here. It’s a family owned business that puts a lot of care into their food and it shows in how amazing it always tastes. Our go-to are papusas (cheesy, doughy, crispy round morsels of goodness) and the baleada prepped (giant breakfast taco/burrito). Of course anything you choose off their menu will be delicious. If you’re feeling adventurous but not wanting to stray away from familiarity. Get their fried chicken plate. It’s mega loaded with crispy plantains, sauce, cabbage, and the crispiest most well season fried chicken you’ll have. Dine in if you can so it stays crispy rather than to-go and it get soggy. Recently we tried their seafood soup “sopa marinera”. And let me tell you. It. Was. Amazing. Does not have overtly fishy pungent smell but has all the seafood life in it. Crab, shrimp, mussels, calamari. In a piping hot coconut milk broth that smells divine. Can’t oversell this place enough. Always happy to go here.“
“My kids and I came in tonight (Friday) for dinner. And started out on the patio. Our server, Jordan, was so kind and noticed how the kids were cold so she arranged to move us inside. Exceptional service. My youngest absolutely loved her! Both of my kids love this place! We are definitely gonna have to come back and eat here again!“
“I remember going there several years and they definitely went all out to provide me with service. If I didn't live so far away I would probably be going there regularly. This was right after they opened up for the day and I remember them all lined up to welcome just me.“
“We were on our way home and found Fiesta Del Mar with great reviews so we decided to stop. It was a GREAT idea! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was AUTHENTIC, great prices and delicious. This was NOT Tex-Mex so if you are looking for that, do not stop here. But if you want some great authentic food, this is the place. We tried sopes (very good), gorditas(my favorite), enchiladas (excellent) and fresh guacamole (tied for my favorite). When we come through Tulsa again we will stop here!“
“The building is where Asana's Café used to be. This restaurant is locally owned by the same family as the one on 21st. They opened this second location back in April 2022. The menus are different though, this is the only location that has a full breakfast menu. Their hours are a bit different as well (this location closes at 6pm as of now). The family is from Jalisco and their menu offers staple Mexican dishes like fajitas, enchiladas and chiles rellenos. Can't wait to try their shrimp ceviche.I first contacted them because I needed to order trays of breakfast tacos for an event. Breakfast tacos are extremely hard to find in Tulsa! After calling 5 different places with no luck, I finally found them. They have them as part of a platter with rice and beans but they were willing to only make the tacos for me. Customer service was extremely friendly, flexible, and helpful! Not only were they willing to make a bunch of tacos for me as a special catering order, but they also opened earlier than usual on a Saturday morning so they would be fresh for the event. They handmade the corn tortillas that morning! I could've just eaten the tortillas by themselves, they were SO good! The tacos had two tortillas, scrambled eggs, chorizo, avocado, combo cheese and sour cream. They were so good! They also made some without chorizo in case of dietary needs. I really appreciated them being flexible and going above and beyond for me. I will be returning soon to try their camarones a la diabla (spicy shrimp) and their full breakfast menu. Their chilaquiles look amazing and they let you have half with green salsa and half with red!“
“I love this place super friendly highly recommended super clean. Price is ok the gordita is the best. I definitely came back and eat there. I loved this place they treated me super friendly and the rich flavor will definitely be one of the places that I will enjoy their food again I recommend it“
“The tamales were amazing in every way. The best I've had in the Tulsa area. I've been doing a lot of tasting because I'm serving them as part of my Christmas day meal. They are a little different than the traditional tamales but in a more wonderful way ? ? ♥️Vegetarian options: I'm more about the meat. That being said, all of the tamales are delicious ?“
“I wasn't sure what to expect here as I went to a few other places in the area first and didn't like the feel of them. The menu is rather complex but I was ultimately torn between a few items and the server helped me choose. In the end it was a great meal but next time I'll probably try one of the soups as a lot of people were getting those and they looked amazing. The steak was well prepared, both salsas were amazing. I might have preferred a whole bean rather than mashed for this kind of meal but it was fine. The low point was the rice but I don't imagine it's a high pool priority at many restaurants.“
“The food is sooooooo good! Try the fajitas. Try the enchiladas. Try the queso. Drink all the margs! This place is delicious! The atmosphere is lacking. They need to warm it up. But the service, food and drinks are great and it is VERY reasonably priced.“
“I've been here a few times when I've been through Tulsa with horse shows. Hands down, the BEST Tacos El Pastor I've ever had. I get it every time. The interior is simple, but the food is fantastic. Very authentic mexican food, and I only wish I could get it more often!“
“This place was amazing! The food is definitely geared to a healthier crowd, I prefer me greasy food ? but was absolutely delicious honestly. Fresh, fresh ingredients I got the turkey bacon sandwich and my with got sushi. Both of us got large speciality drinks as well and our total was around 30 dollars? Wow what an amazing price. Last the atmosphere is probably the best thing about the place. Lounge chairs, couch's, and plants literally cover the entire place with Scripture on them. Chill ambient music in the background. Definitely a place I will revisit and a perfect place for a date.“
“Finally! I have found a place I can eat Mexican food and be satisfied. I have tried so many places that I have been disappointed, but this time I walked away full of good food. The chile rellenos hit!! I love the waitress too! She makes it all fun.“
