“Right away greeted by a friendly host, Julie. This was our first time here and Dre who had our table was awesome. Prices to portions made this very generous. The food was hot and delicious. She said she had a surprise for us. We were given a free cinnamon bun the size of a birthday cake and we each got a free slice of pie. My wife and daughter had the onion rings and fried mushrooms and loved them. I had eggs over, bacon, French toast and fruit. Wife had a smokehouse burger and salad and my daughter had a ½ pound burger and salad. We took so much home with us. The entire experience was excellent. Each and every time we come to Tulsa we will be at the Silver Skillet and telling everyone about it.“

“My mom (not vegan) wanted to go for Mother’s Day. I assumed their vegan items would be over priced and not worth it but we went for her. We got the 5 Course Grand Prixe Vegan Menu and OMG! I don’t think I’ve ever had better vegan food. Everything was incredible, they accommodate so many dietary restrictions (no cross contamination, gf, etc.) and although each course looks small we left feeling really full. The Chef even came by our table and chatted for a while to make sure we loved everything and the entire staff hand made & signed the sweetest Mother’s Day card for my mom. ❤️ They offer their vegan menu May-December and change their menu every month! Severely dissatisfied in the quality of the steaks we received tonight. We took some friends out for dinner tonight and it was unanimous that the steak quality was seriously diminished from our previous several experiences. I had heard that there was new management; unsure if this would be the reason, the USDA grade of steak has been decreased. The cook was perfect but when your steak is as tough as a boot, it’s hard to enjoy. 3 out of 9 plates were served as ordered this visit, (majority had no substitutions) there has never been an issue in the past with this either. It’s hard to write this review when all the times I have been there have been superior quality. I hope our next visit will be redemption“

“Goldie’s is a Tulsa staple, and honestly, it feels like stepping into a simpler time in the best way.

I had the bacon cheeseburger and it was amazing. It took me right back to those long lake days when you walk into a marina restaurant starving and everything just hits. One bite in and I couldn’t stop smiling.

He had the open-faced chili burger and cleaned his plate, which says everything. We had okra and fries on the side, both good, but let’s be honest, we come for the pickles. And they delivered.

We loved every minute of it. The food, the nostalgia, the whole experience, it’s why places like this stick around.“

My most recent visit I ordered the daily special .
It was a Polaich sausage
So I thought I would get it but to my surprise when I got it it was only the meat and on a bun with no chili on it.
And I feel like for the price that I paid for the combination was not worth it since it didn't have chili on it
All the rest of times I've ever ate here it's been really good
You get in line they take your order take your name and you finish the line get your drink pay for it and go sit down and they bring it to you.
This is all fine this is the way it's work for a long time. The original owners used to just give your food to you while you were in line. But this has been a change since then and that's fine
I do recommend eating here if you're in the crystal city shopping center area.“

My wife and I were in town for a concert to celebrate our 13 yr anniversary and we were hungry afterwards and wanted a romantic restaurant and we are glad we chose Bull in the Alley. Atmosphere was great. The pianist played great music. The bartender's were funny and accommodating. Porterhouse steak paired with potato egan was out of this world. Drinks were very delicious and honestly we left with a buzz which is a good thing because we walked afterwards and reminisced about our night and how perfect everything went. Truly a great experience and unforgettable. The aesthetic of the restaurant was very elegant and gave a very personal and romantic atmosphere. With candles lit on the table and seating very close and personal intimate encounter. This is by far the best experience we have encountered especially with something so meaningful to us.“

(Later learned her named was Delaney) and normally the standard is your order at the counter but since I had never been here she had me take a seat and walked me through the menu. “My wife and I recently had LeeShawn’s as a caterer for our wedding and MANNNNN. We are so thankful for LeeShawn’s Soul Food, they did not disappoint. We had Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, and Green Beans and everything was amazing. You could tell that they really put time and effort into each serving for every guest and that they value the customer experience. On top of that the owners are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet. “My family was in Tulsa Christmas eve weekend. We came to see the Rhema Christmas lights on Friday and the gathering place park on Saturday (both amazing!). On our way out of town we needed to eat lunch before we drove back the KC, MO. I just did a Google search best restaurants near us. We enjoy finding places we have never been before and hopefully non chains while on road trips. Upon searching through a few the high amount of reviews along with the high amount of positive reviews took me to search the website. I was instantly intrigued by the menu and fresh cut fries always catches my eye! So we decided to go to the brook! We were NOT disappointed at all! First cute neighborhood lots of neat shops etc and the building looked cool. The workers were very nice and although busy were attentive. We started with queso and chips and after eating almost all of the queso were offered a 2nd cup for free! I ordered the ground beef taco wrap with fries, my husband got a SW chicken wrap with mashed potatoes and my son got Mac n cheese. No one was disappointed. The fries, mashed pot and Mc n cheese were all frsh and definitely homeade. my taco burrito was delicious and very big..enough for a 2nd meal the next day. My husband's was the same! My son loved his Mac! I would give this place 10 stars if I could!“
