It also came with two slices of toast. White, wheat, rye or sourdough. My friend got the country fried pork chops, came with eggs and a biscuit with gravy and then he ordered a side of French toast. Everything was spot on. Quick, friendly service. I asked for two bowls for my leftovers and waitress was kind enough to bring me a fresh bowl of gravy and two to go drinks.“

I chose the recommend option because it is still a good place but I've been super disappointed the last couple times I've gone/attempted to go. The last time I went in, the ice cream was visibly soft. I tried a couple samples and it was more foam than ice cream. I like frozen solid ice cream. My husband got some but I passed. It was summer and I have worked in ice cream stores before so I chalked it up to the heat coming in and said I'd give it another chance. The past two times (tonight included) that I've tried going, there's no parking. Between the surrounding buildings and hotel parking/valet, there's no space for customers. I give up. They are good but not park and walk a mile away good. I miss the Boxyard location. (And no, I don't go to to BA so I don't go to that location.) 4/5 stars for quality and flavors. 1/5 stars for ease/convenience and location.“

“For the most part hideaway is a good place to eat. But my visit last night was no so good. We set down ordered our drinks and appetizers. My wife had to remind our waiter to bring me my beer. He then took our pizza order. Our appetizers arrived warm not hot like they had been setting on the counter too long. We eat them and just thought they are a little busy, no harm. 20 min later our pizza was brought out. The crust was warm and the toppings were cold. We told our waiter and he went and got the manager who said do you want to box it up and take it home and warm it up? I told him no and he came back I will give it to you for free. I again said no I will pay for my beer, wife’s drink and raviolis. The manager would hardly make eye contact with my with and I and when he laid the bill on the table he said sorry as he walked off. The waiter wasn’t much better instead of playing games with the table behind us he should have been keeping a eye on our orders. I will continue to eat at hideaways just not the one on S. Memorial.“
