If and when you are looking to make an occasion that much better, be sure you take it here. After visiting several times now, this is my go-to for anything that really deserves serious commemoration... or even just indulgence.

The ambiance here is a fine balance between posh and tasteful, with everything from the glassware to the lighting giving of a well measured air of sophistication without overwhelming or feeling pretentious. One particular booth is right in front of a fireplace that is arguably the best seat anywhere in town. Not sure if I could handle sitting anywhere else at this point to be honest!

Service here is tip-top too. Good recommendations can be had, and everything you might want is usually already on the way by virtue of the duly attentive staff. It really helps to settle into the experience and get just a little lost in all of the delightful things being offered.

And as for the fare, while there isn't too much in the way of surprises on the menu for a steakhouse, everything is routinely deliciously excellent. While the steaks I've had can routinely err a notch above the temperature requested, they come out tender and juicy every time even so... and who can really mind that when you pair your steak with their great béarnaise sauce? Worth also mentioning that some of their desserts are first class and their bartenders are quite skilled at making anything you can think of.

I was afraid it was going to be like eating a chunk of gorgonzola but it wasn't at all. We started with the complementary bruschetta pieces which had so much delicious garlic on the bread it was like a piece of heaven. The tomatoes were nicely seasoned with balsamic vinegar but it was just enough to give a great flavor. Crab cakes were meaty, flaky, and tender. They were also a hearty size so next time I may have to partake of them as the entree.“

“My wife and I went to this place after we went shopping at the farmers market. We ordered the Chilaquiles and the Mexican spiced French toast. I took my first bite of the French toast and I literally cried tears. I am not even a sweets person in the morning but the flavor’s exploded in my mouth. So amazing! The chilaquiles were authentic and AMAZING! The chorizo was perfect and the homemade horchata and lemonade was super. The staff are all very warm and friendly and I will definitely be back to support this restaurant. Thank you for one of the best cultural food experiences in Tulsa.“

“I ordered the claims and linguine my dinning ordered the special a mixture of claims, muscles, shrimp and scallops. Also ordered a appetizer of seared scallops. The appetizer was under cooked. Both of our entrees were served with a very thick tomato sauce that was a paste not a light sauce one would expect with seafood. While it tasted fine it over powered the dish as a whole. While I did observe other wait staff being attentive to their tables and were very personable. Our waiter was not and had the personality of wallpaper paste. This was our 18th anniversary. We left feeling disappointed in the experience.“
