“We came in to eat for our Valentines Dinner. Honestly? I came in expecting to be let down. Hammett House was my first job. I knew their was new owners. I hadn’t been in years. I wanted to eat what I used to love. The Hawaiian Chicken and brown rice. Y’all, it was like a blast from the past. It was exactly like I remembered. It was incredible! I plan on coming back more often now!“

“Went here with my dad and family to eat. Definitely off the beaten path, but a cool experience. Fish are grown in ponds across the property and are served on an all you can eat buffet. Other food on the buffet includes chicken strips, pulled pork, bologna, little smokies, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, along with several other sides. We showed up early and there were already people in line. Each party gets a number and they call you in a few parties at a time. Everyone goes through the line to pay and then to the food buffet, drinks, and and add-ons like chopped onions, tartar sauce, pickles, etc. Dessert is available as well. Blackberry cobbler, brownies, cakes, and ice cream. Everyone left with a full belly and a cool experience. The grain bin/solo is the seating area in the back and was cooler temp wise than the front of the restaurant.“
