“Worth the Hype – Some of the Best BBQ in Tulsa
Clark Crew BBQ absolutely lives up to its reputation. We ordered a little bit of everything, and there really wasn't a weak spot on the table.
The ribs were outstanding—thick, meaty, and perfectly smoked with a beautiful bark. They had just the right amount of tenderness without falling apart, letting the quality of the meat and smoke shine through. The brisket was equally impressive, with a great smoke ring, rich flavor, and moist slices that didn't even need sauce.
The burnt ends were phenomenal. Smoky, buttery, and packed with flavor, they were easily one of the highlights of the meal. The pulled pork was juicy and well-seasoned, while the chopped beef had plenty of smoky bark mixed throughout for great texture.
The surprise favorite was the smoked chicken. It's easy to overlook chicken at a BBQ joint, but this was incredibly juicy with crispy, flavorful skin—some of the best smoked chicken I've had.
The sides were just as solid. The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, the baked beans were rich with plenty of meat mixed in, and the fries were crispy and well-seasoned. The broccoli offered a nice balance to all the barbecue, and the cornbread was moist, buttery, and slightly sweet.
Clark Crew offers three house sauces—Original, Spicy, and Competition. They're all worth trying, but the Competition sauce was my favorite, adding just the right balance of sweetness without overpowering the meat. Honestly though, the barbecue stands on its own and doesn't really need sauce.
We couldn't leave without dessert. The banana pudding was creamy, light, and finished with caramel and a vanilla wafer for the perfect Southern touch. The cookies and cream cake was massive, rich, and easily big enough to share.
The restaurant itself was clean, modern, and comfortable with friendly, efficient service. Portions are generous, making it easy to sample a variety of meats and sides.
If you're looking for top-tier barbecue in Tulsa, Clark Crew deserves to be at the top of your list. Between the championship-quality meats, excellent sides, and fantastic desserts, it's an easy 5 out of 5 stars. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu.“

“Elmer’s BBQ is the definition of flavorful comfort food. Keith has created a place that feels welcoming from the moment you walk in.

The mixed BBQ sauce paired with the sausage and pulled pork was absolutely delightful, adding just the right balance of sweetness, tang, and smoky flavor. The sides were absolutely phenomenal. My favorite was the coleslaw, but the baked beans and potato salad were right on its heels. Every bite tasted homemade and full of care.

If you’re looking for great barbecue and outstanding sides, this is definitely a place worth visiting.“

“We ended up ordering a sandwich and mac and cheese to go, but decided to dine in and also tried the pulled chicken, sweet potato fries, and fried okra.

The fried okra was a pleasant surprise! We were a little hesitant because it was cut on the stalk, but it was crispy, flavorful, and really good. The sweet potato fries were delicious as well.

The pulled chicken was a little saltier than I prefer, but once I added their spicy BBQ sauce, it balanced everything out and tasted great. Overall, we enjoyed trying several different items from the menu and would definitely come back to explore more of what they have to offer.“

“I love eating here and am thankful to have all the great options in the Williams Center. The people who work at this Rib Crib are friendly and quick and always get my order right. The food is excellent, one of the better options in downtown Tulsa. It isn't too expensive for the quality, especially compared to all the other options downtown. I wanted to write this today because the only other reviews this location has are written by cheapskates unfairly comparing this food-hall-style location to other full-size, standalone Rib Cribs.“

“We love to visit our Tulsa Hills Albert G’s pretty often, and we always have great service. Tonight when we were walking out my 3 year old spilled her iced tea all over the foyer by the hostess stand. Honestly, I was a little embarrassed that she spilled it right in the middle of where everyone was walking. There was a guy working named Carlos that came rushing over, and immediately asked what she had to drink. I figured he was probably annoyed and trying to find the best way to clean it up, but he was actually running back to the kitchen to get her a fresh one right away. He was so nice and got down to her level to offer it to her and make sure she was happy. The girls at the hostess stand were SO nice about it and cracking jokes too. And listen, I’m sure staff are supposed to remain professional, even if they’re annoyed, but when I tell you the staff literally acted like she was a royal princess and they were happy to clean up after her, I mean it. Def made my night that they didn’t get frustrated and embarrass us more. Thanks Carlos & everyone else!“

“Went to tulsa hills in sat nite!! Very very busy but of course Valentine’s weekend!! We sat at the bar while waiting!! I am diabetic and could feel my blood sugar dropping! It was very concerning! I asked this little guy named Brandon to get me some rolls . He brought me 4 and butter! He was so nice and helpful!! He should get a raise! He saved me I was about to pass out!! What a good guy!!!“

The food was good and I had the Parmesan Chicken Cheese Crust (I believe that's the name) and it was good, but needed a sauce to go with it. I'm thinking Alfredo sauce would make it perfect. Overall, it's good, but I wouldn't recommend it for a big party.“
