Albert G's Bar-B-Q in Tulsa offers a great dining experience with friendly service. The restaurant provides a good escape from the heat and offers an unsweetened ice tea option with generous refills. A gluten-free menu is available online, making it a suitable spot for those with dietary restrictions. The 2 Meat Combo with Tulsa style ribs and chopped brisket is a popular choice, accompanied by tasty sides like potato salad and coleslaw. Nachos with pulled pork are also a hit, though some feel the food could use more seasoning.
The restaurant is known for its versatility in food and sauce options. It's also praised for its excellent service, especially when accommodating large groups in the private room. The room can hold about 30-35 people and the reservation is free with no required minimum spend. The food is consistently good and portions are generous.
However, the restaurant's location can be a challenge, as parking can be problematic, especially for those who prefer not to walk long distances or pay for parking. The ribs are excellent, though some find them a bit salty, and the coleslaw is considered a bit boring. The Brisket Queso, on the other hand, is highly recommended.
