Restaurantji's Glenpool guide: Where to find the ultimate Mexican flavors.
“Very friendly and helpful people in here the food is always hot and fresh Great taste Place is always clean we have seen the workers pulling out the booths and cleaning the walls and floors Bathrooms are very clean It's a great place to eat“
“The food is always good, the ladies are always kind, and the reason why amounts are higher than they expected is because I’m sure they have to pay fees for us using a card. Many vendors pass on the credit card fees that they get charged every time someone uses their card or Apple Pay, etc. I can’t imagine a small business owner having to absorb those fees for us, just because we want to use our card. I hope that was the case.“
“Usually it’s hit or miss with bueno, any of them - and especially this location. They were short staffed as always, but absolutely the best service and they were very apologetic. We both got beef nacho salads (which normally aren’t that filling) but ours were huge. Everything was fresh. The lady at the front counter must’ve apologized at least 10 times for the wait, but we were in no hurry so it wasn’t a big deal. We were very impressed with the quality of the food and clean tables.“
“Finally! I have found a place I can eat Mexican food and be satisfied. I have tried so many places that I have been disappointed, but this time I walked away full of good food. The chile rellenos hit!! I love the waitress too! She makes it all fun.“
“I went to this establishment for the first time and I would definitely go again, the food is fresh and served in large portions, the attention was excellent and the service in general was fast. It's probably one of the best food trucks in the city.Recommended 10/10.“
“Really good food and service. So far, classic beef and the habanero mango chicken are my fav. Puffy tortilla, chips and guac, and the hot sauce....yum, yum, yummy!! The tacos are filling and loaded with goodness. I always get the two-taco combo, and every time, 1/2 way thru the 2nd, I wish I would have just gotten the one-taco combo....but I power thru. HA! Too tasty to waste. Love this place!!“
“Tello's is our FAVORITE local Mexican restaurant!! It's right in our neighborhood, and the food is fantastic! Service has always been amazing and swift! The food is fresh and flavorful, and the best top shelf quacomole in Tulsa! Tello's is a truly authentic Mexican grill!!Vegetarian options: I can completely recommend the vegetarian enchiladas! Don't forget that top shelf quacomole! ?“
“The best torta I have ever had in my life! I got the lapinche torta and it was 10/10! It was huge so I ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner. The sandwich came with fresh French fries and cost about $17. My partner got the nacho French fries and he raved about them as well. The salsa verde was delicious! We Highly recommend this little hole in the wall.“
“Paradigm shifting Mexican food; sensational salsas and magnificent moles. The two meals my wife and I had today, along with the salsas are dangerously on the edge of altering the Mexican food cosmos. The moles. The moles, wholly frikin’ cow the moles. The descriptions from the menu:Mole Poblano -Prepared from Fresh Chile Poblano, dried Pasilla & Ancho Chiles, Nuts, Spices, Seeds, Abuelita ChocolateAnd:Mole Pipian – A Traditional sauce from Oaxaca Prepared from toasted Pumpkin Seeds, Tomatillos, Fresh Chiles and a myriad of Spices. My wife and I both had the Stacked Enchiladas (“New Mexican style Enchiladas” or in Texas “Enchilada Casserole.”) For her Carne Asada w/ Mole Poblano and for me Shredded Chicken Adobo w/Mole Pipian.Rice on her plate, Mexican style corn on mine and black beans for both meals. The corn is amazing, do not pass it up. I could spend an hour assembling strings of adjectives to describe these meals. One word works; extraordinary! And the salsa, Wow. The house salsa is fair. Hiding in the kitchen are two others that you must try if you like good salsa. There is a smoky Chille de Arbol salsa and a green tomatillo salsa. The waitress brought us a sampling of each. We ordered a bowl of the Chille de Arbol. They cost extra, $2 a cup. My wife loved the green. The sample got her through this meal but next time it will be a bowl of each.I don’t really care about what else is on the menu.…I just don’t care. It’s a typical assemblage of some Mexican food. BUT…….. those Chef Select Tacos, specifically the Red Snapper Tacos, Chile-seared or Char Grilled are working in my brain right now, like the Siren Song.Eat Stacked Enchiladas with a Mole at the Ridge Cantina!Nice restaurant, great service from Jenna.A little pricy, but this ain’t a taco truck.“
“We love this place and eat here often. Their food is great and always hot. The service is outstanding although we have our favorites. We usually ask for Cameron, Dalton (when he is not at school) or Braden. These gentleman will always take care of you. They are the best.“
