The entire staff was perfectly midwestern, absolutely pleasant and nice. The place was clean and welcoming. I had the 3 meat platter with coleslaw and mac and cheese. The mac was slightly above average, good cheese, well cooked pasta, and nicely creamy. I was surprised with the slaw, I usually prefer a vinegar based slaw, this coleslaw was very good, it balanced the meat very well. The ribs were fantastic, well seasoned on their own and pared well with all table sauces. They fell off the bone but didn’t fall apart, a perfect balance. The sliced brisket was very tender and well seasoned, although a little dry for my taste. The sausage was the star of the plate in my opinion, juicy and perfectly seasoned, it needed nothing extra to be perfect. I highly recommend stopping in, I know I will next time I’m in Tulsa.

We went to the Albert G's BBQ location in Tulsa Hills on Olympia. We were seated quickly and ordered a five rib dinner which came with two sides. The sides we got were tabouli and french fries and both were excellent. The ribs, however did not have a bunch of flavor to them and while they were tender and tasty needed sauce on them to make them have a great taste. Very disappointing.

Called and placed a take out order. I specifically asked and confirmed that they had what we wanted. The young man on the phone assured me that they could fill our order. After immediately driving across town to pick up our order I was told that they made a mistake and they were sold out. The entire staff just stared blankly at me. No “sorry for your inconvenience” or anything remotely close to that. Just blank stares. They didn’t even call me back to say they were out - they had my phone number. The worse thing is that I have previously given Albert G’s good reviews, but they have really gone down hill - especially in hiring their staff.

went in albert g,s 9-9-25.and order a 2meat dinner ribs and hotlinks the ribs were 3 flat small ribs with very little meat a very small portion of potato salad and the food was luke warm. one guy kept coming from the back kitchen eating and getting a drink the go to the bathroom with black gloves on. i hope he didnt use the same gloves to serve food. and the price went up to 20 dollars a plate.
We love the catfish dinner but over time - I am disappointed to see the price cutting changes. They dropped the two sides with the catfish dinner a while back and okay - I love hush puppies but it’s always an hit and a miss. Tonight - the hush puppies are raw inside. Then the tartar sauce has slowly changed to thinned out tartar sauce which isn’t great but a lot better than the dripping ranch tartar sauce dressing we had tonight. The crust on the catfish was mushy and just not up to the standards they had a year ago. We love this place and hoping this was just a hiccup!

After many years of frequenting this restaurant I fear that it has to come to an end. After visiting this restaurant on 3 seperate occasions, it seems that the meats have been changed from what they’ve sold in the past. The sausage and hot links have no distinct taste almost tasting the same and the bologna has little flavor to it now. I would always recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting BBQ in the past but ,I can’t seem to do that anymore unless the food quality goes back to what it was previously.

We love the catfish dinner but over time - I am disappointed to see the price cutting changes.
