We had a trouble experience. The food was very dry and tough as leather. We had to hunt down someone to refill our drinks. The server had a bad attitude. I guess it was because we had to hunt her down or someone to get service. We were charged 18% gratuity and we should have been given our money back because of the trouble food and service. We seat with our son (a firefighter), his wife, 20 year old grandson (a firefighter) it was his birthday, a second grandson. They were watching a 24 mouth old and a baby. My wife and shared a three meat with water and a tea on one check. Our son, his wife, the two grandsons were on one check with a Mac and Cheese for the two year old and the baby had nothing. They don't deserve one star for anything but I have to put something.

I went out to eat here with my friend and her family and the server was nice, obviously new but friendly, anyways, first, we got our drinks and my friends father said the alcoholic beverage got wasn't good at all and my friends drink was super watery, after they got her a new one since they had to refill the soda it was still bad. Then we ordered some food, then the waiter came back and said they couldnt serve the food they wanted. The waiter was great but we left before we got to try the food.

Update- 11/03/2024 We sat at the bar today. Opening bartender was very unfriendly! When I asked for a gluten free beer ,such as Angry Orchard or similar, her response was “ we don’t carry anything like that.” Sad part is, I can see the cans of Anthem cider from where we sat. Not one time did she check on us. No refills, no nothing! The food was amazing as ALWAYS, however, the service was horrible. Male staff member talking about being sick last night is what we want to hear when we come to a restaurant for good food. This will be the last time I give this place a second chance. ———Original post a a long time ago-The food is amazing!! We have been here 4 times now since they opened the Tulsa Hills location. Prob close to the best bbq I’ve ever had. The staff however is a whole different story. We had a great waitress the first time I believe her name was Kim.(Don’t quite remember for sure) the last 2 times we have had the same waitress. She shall be no named due to her never tell us her name. She is very slow, very very forgetful, and most definitely it very personable. Makes the dining experience not so pleasurable. Wish we could come in and have a great waitress to go with the great food. The host is also not very friendly. Kinda sad that the food is so good but the people you pay to serve it isn’t up to par.

We just came for the 1st time. No reason to come back. Meat was dried out, waffle fries were cold but the French fries were hot. Okra was typical frozen okra & the brown gravy was gelatinous.
