I use to go to blue coast for my fish twice a month ,now I go to angies twice a week,t's a little more expensive but worth every penny.also learned I love hush puppies😅theirs aren't the traditional ones they're elevated...that cook back there deserves a Michelin star💪

We ordered the tekah kebab platter. It's supposed to come with a salad, pudding (but the picture online shows beans), and bread.
What we got was meat, a piece of pita bread and raw dry shredded cabbage with two small pieces of cucumber on top with a half of a lemon ? paid over $20 bucks for this ??♀️ The photo is exactly what we got minus the two slices of cucumber and the meat.

Short answer is great food at a great price! Now for the details. While very unassuming from the outside and a bit beat up on the inside, the Place is clean, the food is really good, and the portions are large. when I first arrived there was a menu on each table of Mediterranean/middle east cuisine and I thought I had gone to the wrong place. The family who run it are from that area and also offer this cuisine and it smells amazing. We were hunting for fish and gizzards though and we were not disappointed! The fish was fresh, perfectly breaded in corn bread and had perfect texture and flavor. The gizzards were top notch. most places brine their gizzards to tenderize the meat which makes them salty. I am not sure how they do theirs, but for just a touch more chewiness the flavor was amazing. The breading was flour based, and fluffy. The red beans and rice was really good also especially with a dash of Louisiana brand hot sauce on each table, just wish there was more. The fries were hot and fresh also which is the closest thing I could come to a complaint. THE FOOD WAS HOT! It took a while for it to cool, all was made fresh to order and we had to sit there and blow and wait while smelling amazing. It was torture. This was at a great price too. 6 fish fillets, and about three pounds of gizzards each with two sides with water was $30 with tip fed two adults and two kids I am a heavy eater and we brought home two fillets and some gizzards. Definitely will go back when next in Tulsa.

I called in a on a Friday. Showed up around 5Pm. Food was not edible. Very Cold shrimp , so tuff you couldn't eat it. , cold okra, and fries. Won't be back.

Reviews online brought us to this restaurant .. "Best Catfish in Tulsa"We arrived during what holds have been peek business hours.. no one was in the front of the store.. I said HELLO loudly..Then, I asked for a printed menu since I do not see well enough to read a menu board . While my guests looked over the menu, I went to use the restroom. It was not nasty but wasn't clean either.. and no hand soap was available..When I got back to my friends.. well, we decided to go to a restaurant with service and accommodations.
