Excellent food. I love all the options. It was very busy, but we were seated in a timely manner. We sat at the counter and soon were served. They were able to make the food to our vegetarian tastes and it was good. I really love the Waffles which are some of the best I have had. My wife had a pancake, it was good, but not my favorite. I would suggest coming here for a wide variety of flavors and tastes. The food and service are both very good.

An excellent service at a phenomenal price. Legitimately great food for relatively cheap.

First time ever visiting the Apple Barrel Cafe was this morning for breakfast. What a great local gem. Food was terrific - eggs, bacon and tomatoes. Ans the service was even better. Love this place. Will definitely be back!

Food is consistent, fresh and delicious everytime. I like how they use fresh veggies, lettuce and good choice of quality meats and not over seasoned or cooked to hide something...I recommend this place for a great quality home cooked meal.

This is a nice, clean diner. Katie, our waitress took care of us, kept our coffee cups full and hot. The food was fresh and steaming, you will not leave hungry.

I go in there by myself a lot, I used to be a secret shopper but wasn’t when I was inspecting this place. I can really tell they are short staffed right now, they even reduced their hours at certain locations. I’m pretty sure there’s only one cook right now at this specific location and they are currently training new hires. Food came out wrong first time I ordered but the girl who waited on me was new, which I completely understood and just sent it back. I can honestly say they are trying their best. Every restaurant is being hit hard right now due to the pandemic and they are just trying to get back on their feet. It’s a hard transition. Especially to try to find new staff, to get them acclimated to their new environment and still make it work. I normally order the chicken crepes, the first time I received them I found them mediocre, but the second time I visited today they were very well made. Better spices, presentation and overall flavor. No screw ups. It takes time but they will get there. Seeing all of the low reviews of this place (especially being written during the worst of the pandemic) made it very disheartening. They are trying and it’s working. Give them a chance, people. I find this place very cozy and the wait staff were all helpful and great. Will go back again. Good job guys, I just wanted you to know someone appreciates the hard work you are putting in to get your place back on its feet during the pandemic.

This is our go-to breakfast place! The food is great with large portions and the service is awesome. Connie is so sweet and works so hard for her customers. The entire staff is always friendly and even when they’re short-handed, they’re working their tails off. Anyone with common sense knows that restaurants and other businesses are struggling to find workers right now. We could all show some grace for the workers that are showing up every day and doing their best to provide service to us instead of posting untrue reviews and rude comments.

Food is decent but it's not my favorite breakfast place here. Service is not bad but the vibe of the restaurant is off somehow. Don't ask me to explain it but you'll get it if you go here.

We’re regulars, great food, large portions that my wife and I share and always have plenty. The staff works hard to give good service even when they are short handed.

5/22/21 Waitress was EXTREMELY RUDE. I asked for syrup when my pancake was delivered WITHOUT my omelet. Was trying to ask for a glass of milk at the same time but she turned around too quickly. When she returned with the syrup I asked for glass of milk. She was rude and asked if there was anything else that I needed so she didn’t have to come back, and I honestly don’t remember the rest of her sentence because she was so loud and harsh. The people behind us where shocked as well and said wow that was rude. I get it. We all have bad days at work. I had one too that day but I didn’t take it out on her. I was trying to have breakfast with my husband and was yelled at. The apology received after it was spreading through the restaurant of your inappropriate attitude was too late. We’ve been a customer here for several years. We will not return. We do not pay to be talked to that way.

Food was cold waitress was horrible. Telling people that they close in 20 minutes that we don't have any coffee. She said that at 7:05 last I knew it closed at 8 pm. Then Connie told us not to come back because we had problems with our order. Instead of fixing the problems. This place is trash don't come to this unless you want shitty service.

I went back to try the chicken salad, and it was perfect this time (not too much mayo). My husband ordered a grilled chicken wrap, and the chicken was flavorless. Their coffee keeps me going all day, more than other places I've tried so that's a win!

Love the food, but the customer service is lacking. My waiter forgot to check in and take our order after the first greeting and another waitress felt sorry for us and took over. Then she thought he would resume with his duties but didn't. At one point I had to flag down another server just for water whenever my servers had passed my table 4 times and saw my empty water glass.
