Adv. That pick up time & once arrived order was still not ready. Manager said it was going to be addional 15 min before this order was complete. Adv. Order was rang in at 3:37pm & still wasn't ready by 4:16pm
We stopped in for a light dinner and decided to have soup and salad. the soup was the worst Potatoe soup I have ever tasted. The first soup was cold and when he brought the second soup it was watered down and tasted like it was micro waved. The salad was ok, and the beer was cold. The manager never came by to check on us.
First time to eat here. Baked potato was was not hot. Won’t come back. Service was slow. Bread wasn’t good either. Texas Roadhouse was way better.
Stopped in for light dinner after traveling all day. Welcoming and friendly. Great salad with homemade dressing. Potato soup was really good too. Also homemade Will put this on our list to stop here again next year
Completely and totally disappointing. The waitress and the host did their best. They were very nice and very helpful. This place is insanely overpriced. And the food is at best mediocre. The bread they bring to the table it’s horrible. Can honestly say I’ve never had a Caesar salad quite like that one and that’s not a good thing. My chicken fried steak did not have a good flavor at all. And it was not the most tender I’ve ever had. None of my family enjoyed their food. There are no booths big enough for families. Just tables all jam next to each other so you can stare at the neighbor while they are eating. Absolutely no attempt at facemasks for Covid protection. I will never be returning to this restaurant I will take my money elsewhere.
Usually never do a review but. Our service was more than a disappointment she was rude and the other waitress were just as bad. Nicki was short somewhat rude. She may have had a off night there was another waitress that seemed to be going out of her way to cause problems and was confrontatioal with Nicki. There were several curs words being used and loud enough to hear from across the bar room. And no employees or manager seemed to have a issue with this beahavior. If this was a regular thing I would be embarrassed to have claim to customer service. I feel sorry for naming Nicki but she could have not brought her emotions to our service. Her service was very well done just attitude and demanor. I wish I got the name of the other waitress she was a embarrassment and her friend which seemed to be nicki trainee possibly both were rude loud foul mouthed and just off putting. I asked for manager from I believe it was q but he failed to return or produce a manager and we could not handle any more of the servers behavior so me and my children paid and left.
The restaurant was close to our hotel so we went over for supper. Husband had jobs and I had a steak salad. The food was decent and the staff courteous.
Christmas dinner at Saltgrass I would never recommend. There was little decorating for the Holiday they have a fireplace did nothing special. No covering on the table nothing special at all. Maybe they are to politically correct super boring. They would not even place a garnish on the ugly plates. It was like eating at a upgrade fast food dinner, but way to expense for what you recieved. I do not believe they played any music. I ask the server if there was a special for the holiday she advised no. No frills anywhere in this dead over priced restaurant. The food was only okay the server never ask if we wanted a glass a wine or something from the bar, So we had soda. Server could never remember to bring salt and pepper more bread or anything. She was nice but her head was not there. I had to pull the information and service from her. Mangement never approach our table for any reason, no one was smiling just awful. Denny's try harder then this dead place.
This was not the best dinner tonight. We had a long wait for greet at the host stand. The food was not as good as normal. However, my biggest complaint is our server and the manager Leo would take their masks off any chance they could. especially in the kitchen. I watched Leo walk out of the kitchen at least 3 times without a mask. If the manager cannot follow the rule then how does any other employee think they should follow the rule. I work in the industry, this is unacceptable and should NOT be allowable behaviour and needs be addressed.
its was a disappointing experience. have eaten at several other saltgrass steak houses and they were wonderful. i was told my the manager they would contact me about all that happened and heard nothing. my steak had to be taken bac like 4 times and then when i did get it, it was so dry and horrible i couldnt eat it. the manager was a poor excuse for public relations. this was in july when i came to your steak house and wont be back .

Me and my wife came in to enjoy a drink and dinner, we sat at the bar and had the best service from Jordon Warren. He was so nice and a enjoy to be around. The was very knowledgeable of the food and drinks. We had a wonderful time and will be back.
Went for dinner after a long day. Appetizer came as expected and was good. Than i waited for dinner while waiters tried to give me a steak, than another order of mushrooms, than confusion about my brisket burger. Waited another 30 min. Finally got my burger, but it was burnt to a crisp and disgusting, but i ate it because i was starving. Gross. Figured they would give me some sort of comp for all the screwups and waiting. They offered nothing. Bartender was too busy talking about marijuana vape cartridges with his boss and friends sitting at the bar to even ask me how my food was. Save yourself a bad experience and go somewhere else where they know how to run a restaurant. Date served 3/5/20. Bartender julian.
Usually like to eat at Saltgrass but very disappointed in our meal. The potato soup was lukewarm. The baked potato was cold and the mashed potatoes tasted bad. The prime rib was good. The waitress overcharged us and after we asked only fixed half of the problem. We just paid and left. Probably won’t god back to this location.
Four of us came in for lunch on a Sunday. Its a big place so we got sat right away. The service was excellent. He answered our questions about the menu and we all ordered something different. The Ribeye steaks, blackened redfish and the fried shrimp were all very good as was the salad. The price was in line with other places so overall I would have given this place a 4.5 out of 5.
My 2 buddies and I had lunch at Saltgrass a few days ago. I had eaten at Saltgrass in Houston & Dallas before and once in Tulsa. I had never had lunch there before. My buddies had never eaten at Saltgrass so I suggested we try there for lunch. I had the fried shrimp & fries. Randy had the beef tips & mashed potatoes, and Charlie had the chicken fried steak. Service was efficient and the meals arrived soon and were as advertised & ordered. There are cheaper places for lunch, but the quality of food is very good.
