I called in a order for half a rack of ribs, sauce on the side. Worst ribs I've ever had, tasted like that hickory smoke liquid was poured on it , then placed in oven to warm & thrown in a box , 30 something dollars, they were awful tough couldn't get a decent bite , I was so upset, I was gonna call take pics for a refund, my spouse had a stroke & seizure so he was at OSU hospital, went to take a dinner break & i just don't understand, I paid & they should have delivered, bt that's a lesson learned I guess.

Close by the hotels in downtown. Food was decent. Soup was excellent and so was the bread pudding. Fish and chips were ok but lacked seasoning.
Service was excellent and is within walking distance of the Double Tree.

My mother has been a patron of this restaurant since she’s lived downtown (over a decade) I grew up eating here with my mom. I would be lying saying I don’t have fond memories of this place. Unfortunately they have slighted my mother one to many times. My mom is legally disabled and has been on a fixed income for years now. She’s spent $1000s of dollars eating at this restaurant as well as encouraging friends to eat there with her. In the decade she’s eaten here she’s had 2 instances where she was short on money and didn’t know ahead of time. Keep in mind even though she was short on money she still settled the debt. Baxter has on many occasions treated my mom like a leper, charged her more then he should and has generally been an a hole to her despite her loyalty. Recently my mom’s wheelchair broke down in their restaurant and as they were closing they made her wait outside for me to pick her up and left her alone. Then 2 weeks later despite this she returned for a coffee and was $1.50 short and came back the following day to pay her bill. The next time she showed up the owner told her she had to pay her bills up front from now own as well as slight comments against her and her situation. I will not be eating here anymore, nor my mother. I will desuade everyone I know to not eat here. I will post on all my socials and groups to not eat here. The disrespect has gone to far. My mother deserves better treatment for the loyalty she’s given. If Baxter gives a personally apology to my mother an I, I will remove the review. Otherwise it stays up.

Went with a group of 8 during a conference. They had one waitress but she was amazing! She was swamped with large groups due to the conference but the food and service was amazing. I had the New Orleans Style Orange Roughy as the menu describes it as
A tender filet of roughy dusted with Cajun seasonings and pan seared topped with chipotle aioli. Served over rice pilaf and sautéed asparagus. It did not indicate is as Gluten free but after consulting with the chef I was assured that is was unless I was hyper sensitive and even mayonnaise would be an issue for me. ( in my case it is not)
The orange roughy was superb! Everyone who dined with me was very impressed with their food choices as well.
Be aware the close from 2-4 daily

Excelent food. I give it an A+. This is my place to go,before I go to a concert.
We are travelling to Arizona and stopped in Tulsa at the downtown Laquinta Hotel. It was a great hotel, and Nicole took care of us. She suggested we go to Baxters Interurban Grill for dinner. We sat out on the patio with our dog. We had THE BEST server, Audrey, and a visit from Baxter, the owner twice, to make sure we were happy. The food was delicious and the service spectacular! We would highly recommend this restaurant!!!! 😁

This place is a hidden gem. We sat in the outside patio area with my pup and the staff could not have been more accommodating and kind to us. Audrey, our server, was attentive to my friend and me and even brought water out to my sweet pup. She checked on us regularly and provided extra plates so we could share our entrees. Baxter himself came out twice to chat with us and make sure we were being well taken care of. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a 10 in my book.

I challenge anyone to find better Fish and Chips anywhere. Baxter is the chef there and occasionally visits with the guests to ensure their expectations are met. I ate there regularly for a week while my wife was having heart surgery in Tulsa and was never disappointed with the food or service. You should try it.
Chocolate torte and bread pudding are the bomb!
