I’ve been ordering betos on doordash for a very long time and they’ve never disappointed me. Today I decided to drive here in person and order my food. The cashier and I had a hard time communicating because she didn’t speak very good English. I ordered two birria tacos. Normally I get the four taco deal on door dash for $14. They charged me $10 for two tacos and a Dr Pepper at the food truck and they didn’t give me the consommé which is even advertised on the truck to come with every birria taco. The real issue I have is that they over charged me and then proceeded to give me the wimpiest tacos I’ve ever gotten from betos. Usually their tacos (when I dash it) are loaded and I can only eat two. For some reason, they gave me barely any meat when I ordered in person. Really frustrating.

Mistakes were made. The portion sizes are HUGE! We ordered 1 carne, 1 pastor, 2 Berria taco, 2 rice and beans and 2 grilled onions. We could have ordered one of each because we have SO much left over. The ladies working last night were very nice and efficient. The food was delicious. The consomé was quite a bit different than I've ever had, but it was a delightful unique flavor nonetheless. We will be back and definitely ordering half next time.

I did not like the carne asada. Fatty and chewy with little flavor. I love Mexican food so it saddens me to have to say this. I won't go back to this truck. It had little variety.
Family and I had the regular tacos as well as the birria tacos and we were highly disappointed. The meat in the regular tacos was bland and greasy, they didn’t even use cilantro it was parsley which didn’t help their case. The birria taco consomé is just beef broth with no seasoning nor color. Prices were high too so I would expect way more. Save your money and go elsewhere this place is not worth it.

I'm fairly certain they summon their food from a realm of magic; everything I've ordered has been nothing short of magnificent (okay, the refried beans could use some seasoning I guess), and no human skill has any right to be this honed. The tacos are brilliant. The burritos are transcendent. But the tortas... the tortas taste like there's a herd of tiny unicorns dancing to angelic dubstep on your taste buds. Stop reading reviews and go get some Betos.

I've had Birria Ramen at some of the "upscale" Mexican places downtown and been charged double what Beto's does... and they're food doesn't hold a candle to Beto's Birria. Slow-cooked for 24 hours, you can taste every bit of the care and attention. Unbelievable food. Never disappointed. Can't wait for the weather to be good so we can sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere!
