Love the waffle cones and ice-cream!
Lots of flavors, exceptional ice cream, great vibes and all at a reasonable price! Definitely worth going
i came in today around 7:45. A lady with short hair, rudely interrupted me and my partner that was trying to decide on which flavor with “what can I get for you”. Now this sounds nice but as you’re actively trying to decide what you want and the worker hears that, it shows more as a “can you hurry up”. It took us maybe 30 seconds to decide with this young lady showing obvious signs of annoyance. We would much rather have had the other young woman working wait on us, but oh well. Maybe we will try another location next time. Ice cream was good atleast.
Great vibes and incredible ice cream
Banana pudding ice cream is wonderful! Also quite affordable!
Went from the Philbrook down the street to Big Dipper Creamery and oh. My. God. Im a sucker for lavender but their honeybee sundae really blessed my mouth. It’s so creamy and rich and the little honeycomb bits are so yum! Good crunch but not too crunchy, and the cherry tastes so sweet and natural. I would kick a baby for something half as good as this in my town!
Loved it.
Big Dipper Ice Cream – A Scoop Above the Rest!
If you’re an ice cream lover looking for a place that’s as fun, flavorful, and fresh as it gets, look no further than Big Dipper. We stopped by recently and tried their 6-cone scoop flight for under $10, and honestly, it felt like discovering a hidden gem.
Let’s talk about the flight first—what a creative and delicious way to sample multiple flavors! It came beautifully presented with six mini cones, each one packed with personality and flavor. We chose:
Salted Caramel Ganache – Rich, buttery, with a perfect balance of salty and sweet.
Honeycomb Lavender – Delicate and floral, with just the right touch of sweetness. Totally unique!
Purple Velvet – Smooth, creamy, and a colorful twist on a classic.
Bean Me Up Scotty – A fun, coffee-infused flavor with a punch of espresso and a playful name to match.
Banana Pudding – Tasted just like homemade banana pudding, with a creamy, nostalgic feel.
Hemingway Ice Cream – Bright and citrusy with subtle complexity—refreshing and unexpected in the best way.
Every single flavor was delicious. It’s rare to love all six, but each one had its own personality and stood out in a different way.
On top of that, the cones were made fresh, and you could really taste the difference. Crispy, warm, and with that perfect homemade texture—they were the ideal vehicle for each scoop. It’s clear Big Dipper takes pride in quality and detail.
The shop itself was clean, cozy, and inviting, and it’s clear they care about maintaining a tidy and welcoming environment. Everything looked well-maintained and thoughtfully decorated.
Our server, Sofia, was absolutely friendly, knowledgeable, and super attentive. She wore gloves the entire time, made sure everything was handled hygienically, and helped us navigate the flight flavors without rushing us. Her genuine enthusiasm for the ice cream made the whole experience even better.
Final thoughts:
Big Dipper isn’t just an ice cream shop—it’s a full-on treat-yourself experience. Between the creative flavors, the fresh cones, the excellent service, and the affordable price, we left happy and already planning our next visit.
5 stars for sure. If you haven’t been to Big Dipper yet, do yourself a favor and stop in—you’ll be hooked after the first scoop.
Fantastic service and offerings. Just wish one would come Jenks/Bixby area!!
The caramel ice cream is fabulous. Generous servings.

I just visited the Peoria location to celebrate the Memorial holiday weekend. Always, it’s elating to visit a dog friendly restaurant. During this visit, though, my dog, friend, and I were embraced with the hollow girl who unenthusiastically prepared our treats. Her temperament made us feel out of place and unwelcome in the establishment. Maybe she was having a bad day, and what was even worse was that toppings didn’t meet my expectations: stale Oreo bits and I personally was not a fan of the hot fudge either. I will say that the person working was able to serve everyone in a timely manner. It is, however, unusual to receive this level of non-engagement at Big Dipper. With some tips and tricks, her aptitude will increase.
Loved the ice cream! So creamy and so many different and delicious flavor combinations. They also had waffle cone cups which are my fav. Only critique is the one girl working there just now was clearly increasingly annoyed that we were having so many tastes before ordering. I got the butter cookie dough but my son got the lavender honey and that was awesome. She said she was almost out of tasting spoons but as soon as we finished our order (I didn’t try as many as I wanted) and the line stopped, she sat down to her phone instead of washing all the spoons she resented us using. Also half of the tables had no napkins and the water dispenser didn’t have cups. She’s probably a fine young person but needs some pointers—maybe it’s her first time having a job.
Great ice cream. It's a must have when we visit Tulsa!
