Sushi at a sandwich shop?? Yes! This is the only Bill & Ruth's that I know of that has sushi. Very refreshing cold meal on a hot day. Recommended.

The environment is really not bad, very clean and children friendly as well. Had a warm greeting when we walked in look at the menu and continue to order bacon cheeseburger with fries and a fountain drink a children's chicken strips with fries and a fountain drink any children's grilled cheese with fries and a fountain drink and also a California roll. The fries on the orders were good. The burger wasnt horrible but pretty mediocre. Bacon was so burnt it was outragious. The kids grilled cheese for my daughter was on a big sub roll and pretty hard. My chicken strips didnt come out until about 15-20 minutes after the other food was ready and was warned that they weren't familiar with the air fryer so my chicken probably wasn't cooked. Proceeded to take it to the table and just put my finger in it and it was very soft and visibly looked Raw. Should have just been thrown in the fryer. So we just took it back up to the counter.. the sushi that was very fresh and very good I ate every bite of that. Also there was a bit of drama since they got a woman's car towed that was getting her nails done next door that was parked in their reserved parking which I find completely okay she was taking away from their business but the other parking spots that were right in front of the doors were taken up by some employees of bill & Ruth's themselves! Which I found crazy for them to get mad at her for taking away business when them their selves were parking in the only spots right in front of their own store seems Petty since they were technically allowed to tow her car..

not sure what some of these review are about, the food is great. This place has been through a few owners however I do not see the changes people are talking about. They have pretty solid food and I have no complaints. Give it a try and see for yourself.

This place has changed drastically..........I ordered a very simple sandwich, '3 cheese & Avocado'. There was little avocado, no cheese, and drowned in some kind of sauce. Stay far away from this location at 91st & Sheridan, save your money & put them out of business. And another note, they think that fake reviews can save a failing business.
I am a big fan of this Bill and Ruth's! The owner is very nice and the nice lady that cooks is always fun to talk too. On top of that the food is actually really tasty too :) I like the burgers and the subs.

Since the Chinese people sold it, there is a big difference in the quality of the sandwiches. They changed the cheese to some kind of fine shredded cheddar / mozzarella mix and not very much of it was on the sandwich. There was also not much meat on the on the sandwich. It appears they are trying to increase their profits by skimping on the ingredients.

They let me order after 6 which was nice. The place is definitely owned by different people then the last time I was there. I went in for the sushi because they used to be a place that had some different rolls that were pretty good. Now the prices are higher and the picture of the rolls is the same so I thought okay I will still try it even though it does not look like it's worth the price. The crab salad in the roll was not what I was expecting. It was very over done with mayo and was wet and not normal. The spicy crab salad was okay but still very different from the norm. I would not recommend this sushi and all the rice was also not normal sushi rice. The people were nice but I will not be eating sushi there again. Especially when I can go to Fuji and get two rolls and soup for $10 instead of the two rolls with less pieces for $15.

Food was cold, my boyfriend was harassed by some lady begging him to buy her food and it sandwiches are the worst we've ever had from this place. I've never had a bad experience with a bill and Ruth's but this one is completely nasty. It doesn't even deserve one star. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy.
