Good food and service. Surprised that they don't open until 8:00 AM.

They “charge” you a tip.

If you like expensive food that tastes like it was made in a hospital cafeteria this is your go to. The service wasn't worth the 20% gratuity.

Why this place gets above 3 stars is beyond me. Myself, daughter and granddaughter went there. We all got hamburgers. After i ate went to the bathroom it was like a sauna. I look up at the vent and it was so filthy it was disgusting. I get my bill and a 20% tip was added on. The wait staff were a joke. Once the food came he was on his phone. I had to wave him down for a drink refill. That is the problem when they know they are getting a 20% tip they could careless. That made me angry asked the waiter about the forced tip he said look at the sign against the wall behind me then turned around and left. I really hope people quit going to places like this i can buy a $15 burger next door at Bricktown and it would have been a lot better and no required tip for BS service.

I'm suspicious when I see a nice restaurant in a nice location charging an automatic tip. It makes me wonder what's going on that they aren't normally getting tips. Now I know. The food was fine and about the same price as other area diners. It was approx. 9 dollars for 1 egg, toast, and what looked like mcdonald's hash browns. The service was inattentive. He took our order, brought our food, and brought our check. He never checked to see if we needed anything or refilled drinks. It was just super basic service and he seemed very rushed, although we went mid morning on a weekday when it wasn't busy. It was OK, but I'll probably go someplace else next time.

Just going to post in hopes the owners see. Hasn’t been to BBD in years.
1. No bar seating?? Reason for two stars.
2. I’m fine with the 20% autograt but when my card was run I wasn’t brought an itemized receipt, so someone could very easily overtip here if they didn’t see the line at the bottom of the menu.
3. The CFS came with brown gravy that belonged on Salisbury steak. There should also be a a breakfast order of this so I don’t have to add another $5 for a couple eggs on the lunch portion.
4. Service was good but another server came to take my tobasco to another table. Down to share but no place should be short of the nectar of the gods.
5. Green beans were out of a can, mash potatoes tasted instant.

Come on BBD.

What a joke ! This place misses every mark, walked in and nobody acknowledged us although they were not busy and no wait saw a sign that said write your name down so we did and we’re the only name on the list sat there unnoticed for about 3 minutes till a waitress walked by and said you can just sit yourself, our server was nice but not attentive took 10 minutes to place our order, prices are high for mediocre food server mentioned they have potato pancakes and to my disappointment they looked like two McDonald’s hash browns wtf?? We ordered a 3 ingredient omelette for $15 and a special blueberry/lemon French toast- the French toast was thin like regular bread not the thick kind like normal and omelette was far from $15 worth- The worst part is they charge automatic 20% gratuity to all bills- I have never seen this before unless you have a large group but there was only 2 of us. When asked they said because people weren’t tipping them and they have been doing this since COVID - such a disgrace and disgusting excuse- folks it’s 2025 & people are still blaming Covid for their poor customer service and low quality. Further more the word TIPS stands for: To Insure Proper Service - that’s why it has and always will be voluntary and earned. - server of 15 years here btw

First, the automatic 20% gratuity. This is a bad practice for many reasons. It discourages excellence, because they are getting a guaranteed 20% regardless. It keeps poor performers around where these people would be naturally booted from places where gratuity is earned.

Slow to be seated. There was a line out the door with plenty of open tables, but then again, why be prompt if you’re getting 20% regardless?

There is ONE restroom. ONE.

The burger was overcooked and the “chili” was tomato sauce.

Needless to say, we will not be back.

A very busy place on weekend mornings.

I visited BBD again this morning and had excellent food and excellent service for eight adults and five kids.

Always a good place to spend a weekend morning with friends. Good food served quick and they kindly made my breakfast potatoes extra crispy for me.

Parking: The lot is shared with several businesses so depending on when you arrive, there may be plenty of parking or you might be parking on the street.

I ordered grilled cheese with bacon and tomato and soup. Soup was served cold. Reheated and sent back with a dirty spoon in it. Sandwich not grilled. Bacon charred. Cold. Sent back. He was too lazy to remake it and it came back half cooked with the same bad bacon. I felt sorry for the waitress. It is the worst lunch I have had this year. No excuse for keeping the cook. There were only about five people in the whole place.

Great local cafe. We enjoyed a late breakfast before driving back to Kansas. We both went really basic - two eggs, home fries, with biscuits and gravy. I got scrambled with sausage patties and my wife got over easy with bacon. The biscuits were fresh and sooooo soft. The gravy was good - not life changing but good. The home fries were the best part of the meal - perfectly crispy on the outside, a warm soft middle, and the perfect amount of salt. The wait staff was excellent - my coffee was topped off 3 or 4 times and they offered a to go cup. It was a bit loud when we first sat down - there was a group of friend (7 or 8) really enjoying each others company at the table next to us, but that is not the restaurant. Hey probably a bonus in the review that they had a table that sat 8 people not 2 or 3 table pushed together. Loved it - wished I had taken some pics - would go back again and try the pancakes this time.
