Waitress was more interested in talking to people at another table than checking to see if we needed anything.
Awesome chicken fried steak! Gravy and fries are awesome too!
The server had a really chill vibe. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was very 1980s bar-esc. Would definitely come again!
Great place, great food, and super cool staff. Answered all the questions relating to food allergies and was super attentive. The food tastes awesome! Would recommend!
Food was good but our waitress was not nice. She was very pushy, my friend got lost so ran late, when she got there the waitress hounded us to order until finally just saying okay what will you be having for dinner and standing there. Then every time we asked for something she was rude or busy. To top it off while she was in the bathroom another gentleman that was sweet got us a desert, gave us a ticket to which we just paid cash for because we had already paid the bill with CC. She had the audacity to come and very snidely say did you pay for that cheesecake? Um excuse me yes with cash. Very rude and cold.
Wonderful, delicious out of this world ?. I'll take that back TASTE like the old school world ?..double wonderful! Will be back. Oh yes!
We used to love Brothers Houligan, but we ate there tonight and the quality has gone downhill. The chicken fried steak was not as thick and was real salty. Salad wasn’t as good. Everything was lackluster.
We really like this place. The food was great.
Used to be one of favorite places, but the staff changes haven't helped it. Being "scolded" by waitstaff for sitting in the wrong booth was a definite turn off today!
I love going here and getting anything from a green bean burger to steak fingers and eating it with a side of cottage fries with gravy.

I came in to order lunches to go for my daughter. The bartender was really nice and helpful. Unfortunately, since I had my granddaughter, we had to wait at a table. It took a little bit to get everything, but he marked every bag so I know who gets what. The decor is cool. Kind of dark inside though. Definitely worth going here.
Always good food at reasonable prices. Sadly, they no longer have their famous t-bone on the menu. Thanks again, Covid.
Bros. Houligan always has great food and good service. The 15th st location is much smaller than the Yale location. My only complaint about the 15th st location is it's too dark in the dining area.
Haven't been here since the fire all new staff the day I went. I always order chicken livers but they were so burned and crispy I had to send them back first time in decades. My new order was raw in the middle I think the fryers were up too high because it cook the outside perfectly but the inside was raw. The staff seemed extremely young compared to what it has always been. It was actually very cool in the restaurant, I overheard several customers asking why it was so cold to wait staff, who replied we are running around so we have to keep it cool but the wait staff were in jackets and long sleeve shirts ? didn't quite make sense to any of us. Of course I will go back, I have for decades just concerned that maybe this is going downhill fingers crossed it is not! ??
The cleanliness has slid a bit. I had to ask for a new glass as there was an obvious piece of old food on my cup...and the replacement wasn't much better! But man, I love the food! Cottage fries and gravy for life! But let's keep it clean folks!I'll do another review after I go back soon.
