Mr Opinion

I recently signed up for Carl's Jr app and wasn't clear on how to use it at the restaurant. Scott gracefully assisted me, while Jonathan used it as a learning point. I also was visited by their co-worker Serena, who politely asked if she could get anything else for me.

As a recent transplant from the Pacific Northwest where I didn't readily have a Carl's Jr at my disposal, I was absolutely delighted with the food, service, and care I received at the Carl's Jr located in West Tulsa. No longer an also ran, Carl's Jr is now my favorite fast food restaurant and is a no brainer choice over the golden arches located across the freeway. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a far better experience than you'll get at the competition.

Nicest Yet

Came to Carl’s for lunch during my lunch break this past week, they got me through the drive-through quickly. Food was hot and fresh and the ladies in the window were amazing. Will definitely be stopping back by for lunch in the future

I stopped by the Carl's Jr on the West side today for the first time as a new guest at the Regency Inn next door. It was about 2:15 in the afternoon. I was first assisted by the delightful young man Jonathan who recently relocated to Tulsa from Alabama. He helped me find the college basketball game I desired to watch, and then did me a solid when I had issues with the app.

When his shift ended shortly thereafter, I was further assisted by a delightful young lady named Serena. She explained how the rewards from the app can be problematic to apply, but ensured I received mine.

The food was well prepared and the restaurant was kept in clean condition. Serena did not merely just pleasantly serve me at the counter. She walked through the restaurant and politely asked if everything was prepared to my satisfaction and if there was anything else I needed. As I left, she thanked me for coming in and said she and the restaurant looked forward to seeing me again.

Customer service is in many respects a lost art in this day and age. And nameless, faceless fast food restaurants that rely on computer ordering screens and a food pick up based on a number. It was refreshing to see that there was some good old fashioned customer service at Carl's Jr in West Tulsa and nary a customer operated computer screen in sight. Kudos to Serena, Jonathan, and crew! I shall return!!

Asked for no mayo, was told mayo doesn't come on that sandwich, so ok. Ordered the food and behold it is dripping with mayo.

I ordered using the website, pulled up to the drive thru, not a single car in the parking lot should have been my first clue. The three police cars in the adjacent motel parking lot with their cherries and berries lighting everything up like a patriotic strobe light at a block party should have been a second clue. The several minute wait at the speaker before someone responded, third clue. Then waiting at the pick up window while he put everything in a bag, fourth. But, I hadn't had a burger from Carl's Jr in a long time, so I was very patient and polite. The single, only employee in the restaurant, fifth clue. He hands me the bag and my drink, and is very polite. I drive off, headed toward home. About 2 miles down the road, I reach in the bsg, because I'm hungry and figure I'll eat a few fries before I get home. Cold. Greasy. Floppy. Ugh. I get home in less than 5 minutes, and I open my burger. Also cold. Like the cheese didn't even melt all the way on this burger. I tried to microwave just the burger and put it back in the bun and eat it, but was unsuccessful..I took one bite...stopped.. because I know too much about food safety, and just couldn't do it. I ate at this location, inside, 2 years ago and it was great. This made me cross it off my list of possible fast stops on the way home for the future.

Ordered 2 meals was only charged for the price of whatever the 2 sandwiches were not for the meals. Young lady assumed only the sandwiches were wanted.. I’m not sure then was asked to excuse her quality of service and after was asked to pull forward to wait on the completion of the order the “manager “ approached the driver side window of my truck and told me about the xtra charge I was needing to cover. No big deal I’m giving him my card and at first he told me I’ll be getting a 10-15% discount for the mishap then when he brought my card and the 2 meals I had ordered he told me I had received a 20% discount on the extra charge. When I had gotten home I looked at the receipt I was charged full price and also charged for an additional drink and side order of fries which wasn’t received..
