Stopped by on 1/26 and asked for a Shrimp burrito. Picked up order and went back to work. When I cut burrito in half there was other types of meat but I didn’t see any shrimps. Went back to restaurant and told them that I got the wrong burrito. Guy at register said that that burrito is the only one that had shrimp. Mentioned that he should have led with that and don’t let me think that I was getting what I’ve ordered. Asked to get my money back and said he couldn’t do that because I got what I’ve ordered. Mentioned that I didn’t get what I’ve ordered and he repeated that it was the only burrito that had shrimp. Asked for the manager and was told that he was the manager. I could tell that there wasn’t gonna e any resolution so I left them the burrito and walked out. Manager then proceeded to scream at me from the drive thru window not to come back, told him that he didn’t have to worry about that happening. He then went on to tell me how disrespectful I was, my guess for leaving the burrito I didn’t ordered and that he knew where I worked and would come by to see me. Not looking to get anything out of this, but also don’t want to remain quiet. I feel that if I ordered something you don’t offer you need to make that clear, not just give me something you think makes up for what I’ve ordered.

I unfortunately won’t be returning to this place.

The service was fine, and the drive-thru pickup was convenient, but that’s about where the positives end. The food wasn’t terrible, but it definitely wasn’t great either. The tacos themselves had decent flavor; however, the salsa had a very strange undertone that I did not enjoy at all. While I appreciate spicy salsa, this one just tasted off.

The biggest issue, though, is the price. We spent just under $38 for six tacos, a side of rice, a side of beans, and chips with salsa. That is extremely overpriced—especially considering the food quality. This is easily one of the most expensive taco spots I’ve been to in Tulsa, and it simply doesn’t justify the cost.

Overall, the food is mediocre, there’s nothing memorable or standout about it, and for the price you pay, you can get much better quality elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend this place, even to try once.

This is how I got my tacos tonight. Terrible service.

Food is inconsistent. When called and asked for no onions or cilantro and the lady confirmed it although sounding bothered and it was covered in what looked like extra onions and cilantro. Thanks for allowing me to waste my money and throw it out as I can’t eat cilantro. What you guys do matters and it is important to try and send food people pay for.

I just left Catrina Fresh Mex around 8:25 p.m., and the two young men working were super rude to me for no reason. I always go to other locations and have a great experience but this
One was horrible.
The one who gave me limes was the rudest he slammed the limes down on the counter and had an attitude the whole time. I had simply asked for new limes because the ones out were dried up and even had plastic in them. The chubby one took my order and wasn’t as bad, but still had a rude tone. (I have a picture of the likes and will be sending it to health department.)
I’ve always liked Catrina’s and usually get treated well at other locations, but this was a horrible experience. I hope management talks to their staff because nobody deserves to be treated like that, especially over something so small.

The food at Catrina Fresh Mex is great, and I’ve been coming in the afternoons for about three months. However, the girl working the front with a headband always looks mad and has a consistently rude and disrespectful attitude toward customers and even another employee. The front is the first impression of the restaurant, so the manager should hire people who give positive attitude with both the employees and costumers, not someone who makes the place feel unwelcoming. The food is worth coming for, but the experience should reflect that too.

Used to be delicious....last few times the beans are like soup and have no salt at all. Can't hardly eat them. Other locations are still good, but 11th street seems to be going down hill.

The girls who work here are literally so rude. They get your order wrong and have no customer service etiquette. You can tell they don’t care and it’s quite disappointing because I spend a lot of money here.

Edit: they screwed up again and then dropped the ball on making it right afterwards. I give up on this location.

The manager on duty for 7/13 at 12:00 kicks butt and gets names. I had a small issue and she knocked it out of the park. Best food I’ve ever had from Catrina’s. Thanks for the effort.

The food is delicious, no doubt about that. Unfortunately, the service is consistently disappointing. The cashier had an attitude, and I had to repeat my order three times. I specifically asked for salsa — one of my favorite parts of ordering from here — and once again, I got home and there was none. This isn’t the first time it’s happened either. It really ruined the experience. What’s a taco without good salsa?

Three strikes in one meal. The food was tasty and fresh, which is the bare minimum for any restaurant on a Saturday night. For us, the overall execution fell short.

1. We ordered two bags of chips and only received one until we asked. The staff was very friendly though.

2. We paid extra for lettuce and tomato on our birria tacos, but those toppings were missing.

3. The chips had a strong fryer oil taste, and one bag was stale. It tasted like either too many chips were fried at once or they sat under a heat lamp too long.

Also, there were two things just to share:
1. the consommé tasted like it was made from a stock base rather than from scratch — not a dealbreaker, but worth noting since nearby taco trucks do make theirs from scratch.
2. The nachos came DIY style- with all of the ingredients In separate containers. Again, not a dealbreaker, but something unexpected.

That said, the food had decent flavor, the torta was especially good. It just seemed poorly executed during our visit. I do plan to give them another shot to try the breakfast menu. Hopefully that experience lines up better with the potential I saw here.
