The Chowhouse delivers comfort food at its finest, with generous portions and great value for your money. Honestly surprising and refreshing for the area. So many good choices. Best slaw I have ever had. The staff is outstanding—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making each visit special. It’s exceptional to remember your servers far beyond the days experience. If you’re looking for hearty meals served with exceptional service, The Chowhouse is the place to be in downtown Tulsa. Get the cu-sabi ranch!

Delicious dinner tonight at The Chowhouse! We had Chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, PBT (pimento, bacon and fried green tomato) Sandwich with okra and an apple dumpling for dessert. Servings were very generous and prices reasonable!

Sadly one of the worst chicken fried steaks I've ever had. Extremely tough steak, almost no flavor.

Ambience is great Wait staff great Prices for dinner and wine were very reasonable Unfortunately the pot roast and mashed potatoes were cold. They need a better system to bring out warm food.

Excellent food and service, and when the weather is nice, they have a delightful street side patio. A favorite spot for the First Friday Art Crawl. Highly recommended.

Loved It! Thought I was going to a Black Owned Business. It's not, however, the staff was friendly, food was AMAZING, and portion sizes are large. Enough food for two days for me. I had the Chicken Fried Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese along with the Bread Pudding. The Bread Pudding comes with vanilla ice cream. Something I had not expected. Macaroni and Cheese has white cheddar. Definitely worth the trip! EAT UP🧡

Great service and great food. If you are looking for a unique and local place to dine in downtown Tulsa try this place. It is a blend of Southern Food, Soul Food, and Midwest Americana. We had a burger and fries, fried catfish plate, and pot roast. The pot roast was tender and flavorful, the burger was cooked perfectly, and the catfish was amazing. Most unique coleslaw I have ever had. It is spicy. They bring the heat by adding some diced jalapeno. It may be spicy, but it is crwamy and tangy, and you can't stop eating it. The server was great and the prices were the most reasonable we experienced on our trip from Kansas City, through Tulsa, to Dallas. The menu is not complicated, but what they do, they do well. Great food, great price, great atmosphere, very welcoming. I will stop here again.

Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available.
