Delicious dinner tonight at The Chowhouse! We had Chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, PBT (pimento, bacon and fried green tomato) Sandwich with okra and an apple dumpling for dessert. Servings were very generous and prices reasonable!
Great service and great food. If you are looking for a unique and local place to dine in downtown Tulsa try this place. It is a blend of Southern Food, Soul Food, and Midwest Americana. We had a burger and fries, fried catfish plate, and pot roast. The pot roast was tender and flavorful, the burger was cooked perfectly, and the catfish was amazing. Most unique coleslaw I have ever had. It is spicy. They bring the heat by adding some diced jalapeno. It may be spicy, but it is crwamy...
I had the pot roast and mashed potatoes with carrots.The roast was pretty dry.The potatoes and the carrots were amazing.The gravy was good too.My daughter had the catfish and it was good as well!
