Cellar Dweller is the sort of place that you want to have in your city, but that you don't make a habit of visiting. Its the classic dive bar in the best way possible, but its location and underground setting make it particularly unique. The art work on the walls are worth the visit alone. As for actual drinks, not so much.

Tanner, I think it was, made one of the best Vieux Carre’s I’ve ever had. Not sure about his experience, but he seemed to really know what he’s doing. Not many bars can make a proper Vieux Carree. Thanks, Tanner!

I stopped into Cellar Dweller recently, and I left feeling really unsafe. During my visit, I witnessed what looked like suspicious exchanges between some customers that made me extremely uncomfortable. I don’t know what was actually happening, but the vibe felt unsafe enough that I decided to leave almost immediately.
On top of that, the atmosphere from the staff—especially some of the bartenders—came across as intimidating rather than welcoming. Instead of feeling helped or reassured, I felt brushed off and even a bit threatened when I tried to express concern. The bartenders most likely moving illicit weight out of the establishment. They don’t want anyone who doesn’t participate in criminal activities.
I don’t feel this environment is being managed in a way that keeps customers safe. I hope the owners take a serious look at what’s going on, because as it is now, I can’t recommend visiting. I actually plan to file a crime stoppers tip with local law enforcement
Our bartender Friday was so nice and sent us to a great restaurant within walking distance for dinner.

I scored food low bcz Cellar does not serve food. What it does offer is a unique drinking ambiance or vibe. The Cellar may have been a quasi easy speak back in its hey day. Actually, it still provides a quaint cool vibe that old and young alike would like, especially of one is in chill mood. I would recommend it as a first date location over a coffee shop.
The staff and attendees were nice and welcoming. I showed up with an elderly lady and my drinking buddy. I'll be returning soon.
Always tip the staff well!

It’s dark and red. The entrance is kinda confusing. It’s underneath the condo and it seems to be if you get very drunk. You have to go up a staircase. so I see a safety issue there that that was a good place to stop by and get some drinks on route 66.

Dark ambient vibes
Bartender will gladly make you any cocktail.
You can't miss this trip on your visit. It's dark and ambiguous.
This is an amazing little Tulsa secret. Super cool place if you and a significant other or a date want to go somewhere with a really cool setting. For the most part quiet, private and dark lit. Awesome place to go on a weeknight when nobody else is out
