Best bakery in town! Amazingly friendly staff and delicious goodies of all kinds (sweet and salty). 100% worth a visit! We go at least once a month :-) I also highly recommend their sourdough workshop! Kat is awesome!

We tried some of their olive sourdough at Farmbar and just had to go buy a loaf for ourselves. It's literally the best bread I've ever had.Oh, and get the Aleppo butter with it! Amazing combo.Dietary restrictions: They have GF sourdough also.

I noticed their storefront when I was driving in the area and at least three people told me to try it. They're only open on Saturdays so I made a reminder to check it out over the weekend. Parking is located in the back of the building off of Utica Ave. There are also limited parking spots in the front. I was told there's usually a long line by the time they open at 9am and that they usually sell out of their favorite items like croissants and sourdough. I stopped by around 11:30am and the line wasn't bad (we all fit inside). The shop itself is small but they do have a bar by the window with some seating available as well as outside. They carry a selection of related products like butter, flour, spices. olive oil, tea, chocolate and even kombucha. I tried their ham & cheese croissant, pecan frangipane & rose croissant, and the yuzu black lime knot. They were all indulgently amazing, especially after warming them up. They also sell granola, flavored butter, hummus, soups, and take-and-bake croissants, cookies, and sourdough pizza dough. I can't wait to come back and try more of what they offer. Their commitment to local ingredients and quality is impressive. I'm definitely part of their cult following now. They also offer baking workshops and seasonal baked goods. Can't recommend them enough!

OMG!! Following a recommendation from a total stranger to, "Get there early before the croissants sell out!", I am blown away by the baked goods. The quality could give any French boulangerie a run for the money. The flavors are interesting too: saffron, cardamom, leek, etc. Take it from me, this is a rare and special experience. Just get there early before the croissants sell out. ?#baking #goodeats #foodie #tulsafoodie #thefeedfeed #adventurouseater #fancydesserts #brokenarrow #foodwriter #restaurantcritic #restaurantreviews #tulsa #oklahoma #landmark #tulsafoodie

I'll never be on a low-carb diet so long as this bakery exists. I didn't know exactly how much bread I could fit in the tank before purchasing their weekly special loaf and Halva spread from the shelf. The pistachio Halva spread was flakey and melted on my tounge. The rustic loaf was soft with a hearty, chewy and slightly crispy crust. The flavors together were otherworldly and I couldn't stop. The loaf disappeared in a matter of hours. Well, done Country Bird. Well, done.

Gluten free was disappointing.

Everything is delicious, unique, and done so well. We are so incredibly lucky to have this bakery in Tulsa and even more lucky to have it be ran by such amazing people. There is a line for a good reason, don't be a weenie - go stand in it and be so glad you did.

Edit: I find it incredibly odd that their hours don't seem to reflect their actual open times - we walked in on a Thursday morning (they were open - didn't check google beforehand) but they are apparently only open Saturdays according to Google? Very confusing for us wanting to come back. :/I'll likely be back - but I was a bit thrown off by the sourdough loaves being fairly bitter in taste. Also, we bought some of the curry aoili and when we asked what kind of curry was inside, the workers kind of acted like we were crazy for asking. "Curry" could mean any number of flavors and spices. Thankfully, it still tasted good in the end.

We are so lucky to have Cat and Country Bird Bakery here in Tulsa. Cat is incredibly talented and creative. Her baked goods are unique and absolutely delicious. We look forward to trying something new each week. And this week the chilled beet soup and the tuna chickpea salad were amazing!
