A town's craft beer scene can only be improved when there is at least one brewery doing weird, experimental stuff. That's these folks. Showed up and a group from Arkansas and Georgia were just leaving and picking up cases of their pickle gose and peach sour to bring home. Tried both of those and a few others and the flavors were flawless. Bartender Al did everything right.
This place is a gem. Not only is the beer solid across the board, but the real standout is the crew behind the bar. The brewers are delightfully quirky—think mad scientists meets stand-up comedians meets your favorite beer nerds. You’ll probably leave with a new favorite pint and at least one random fact you never knew you needed.
What is there not to love about Dead Armadillo? I was introduced to this little gem through my rescue (Oklahoma Pet Collective Society) which DA helps support. I admit, I typically hate beer. The only beer drink I’ve EVER actually liked came from DA; it’s their pickle beer (literally so good) mixed with a special Bloody Mary mix. Out of this world.
