10/10 recommend We tried it all: $5 Margarita with tajin, appetizer guacamole and queso, street and birria tacos, kids' shredded chicken taco, and for dessert flan, churros, and sopapillas. All fantastic!

Food had no flavor. If you want real mexican food go to molcajetes. If i could give zero stars i would!

Love this place! We come here at least twice a week cuz my baby loves the rice and beans ? the service is some of the best in Tulsa! They already know that we get the rice and beans for the baby and send it out with a spoon and a few cubes of ice in the beans (I'm guessing they see me doing it every time)! They know what booth we like and put us there each time if it's available. The food is great and you can't beat taco Tuesday!! Had queso, margarita, 4 tacos, rice and beans and still spent less than. $20! Also, the server held our fussy baby so we could eat a bit (he asked first of course)! We feel like family here!

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!! They have held my fussy baby so I could eat before!! Everyone drops by to make the baby smile!

So decided to give Dos Panchos a try, our first time Friday night...and likely our last. The reviews showed promise but we left very disappointed. Arrived about 7:00 and seated promptly. They give you a roasted salsa (none of us care for roasted but no alternative) and white queso with the chips (queso was like most Mexican restaurants). Kiddo ordered a cheese quesadilla with fries and a lemonade from the kid's menu ($7.99 PLUS $2.99 for the drink making it an $11 meal!). Quesadilla came out, basically about 6" or 7" diameter flour tortilla (seemed store bought, definitely not made in-house) that had all of about 1/8" of melted cheese inside it. For that much, you'd expect a decently cheese filled quesadilla and the drink to come with the kid's meal (way less than that at say Speedy's in Glenpool - $6.95 with a drink).

Wife ordered the Chicken Fiesta Salad ($12.99) and while it was stuffed with lettuce, roasted corn, tomatoes and grilled chicken, the chicken came out cold and honestly looked like the chicken you get out of a store bought John Soule's already cooked chicken bag. It came with a spicy ranch style dressing and was just 'okay' per the wife. She also ordered the large House Margarita ($11.99) which was meh.

I ordered the 2 Taco Dinner ($12.99) with rice and beans. I asked to upgrade to fajita steak, expecting an upcharge ($4) which was absolutely ridiculous given that when the tacos came out, each literally had only 3 thin strips of steak that were about 5/8×2.5" in size on maybe 6" tortillas, barely any lettuce or cheese. There was honestly less steak than you would even get on a Taco Bueno steak taco for $2.99. With it, I got the rice and beans. Rice was certainly nothing special, rather bland and had nothing in it like peppers, onions or corn for flavor...just rice and maybe one serving spoons worth at that (see the pic and comparison to the fork). Refried beans tasted as if they were out of the can and reheated with a dash of crumbled cheese on top. Again, maybe a serving spoons worth.

Our total was $62.24 before tip.
Absolutely ridiculous for the portion sizes of the meals and quality of the food. I had high hopes based on reviews but this was a total let down. I know I should have taken a pic of all the meals but only got mine and should have taken one of the inside of the steak tacos, but you can probably tell how little was in the tortillas.

Service was okay and certainly can't fault our server for the food.

Atmosphere was just okay...a little loud given the small footprint of the restaurant and lack of anything to help absorb sound.

There are better Mexican restaurants in the same vicinity that will actually give you an appropriate portion on your meals for equal or less $ (El Tequlia, Abuelos, Chuy's, etc). Won't be recommending Dos Panchos to anyone after this first visit.

Nothing super special here. Average mexican food that you can get at any other restaurant. I am convinced that Oklahoma does not know what good mexican food is. To those that don’t know, I can see why they might like this place. If you want good mexican food, stick with the hole in the wall places. Complimentary chips, salsa and queso. Queso is thick but cold. Salsa has too much cumin. Chips are too thick and dry for my liking. I had the steak street tacos and my husband had the crunchy taco plate. The steak was marinated but the flavor is ok. The tacos need more meat and a bit more onions/ cilantro mixture. Beans and rice were served in a very small amount compared to other restaurants. need better flavor such a bit of garlic added. Chicken taco was not very flavorful but the shredded beef was ok. I dont mind Mexican music but it was way too loud. Staff seem friendly. Overall, overpriced for what you get and quality of food.

Follow up: I appreciate the offers but I am giving my honest opinion and expect nothing in return. The food is average and not seasoned well. Portions were super small for the price . When I speak of Oklahoma, I am talking about the people that live here giving reviews, not the restaurant owners or cooks. People here do not know what good Mexican food is and that is why I think the reviews are too high for the taste and portions of the food at this restaurant.

We have eaten here 4 times now, it has been great every time. The birria tacos are excellent. The chile verde is amazing. My son is a big fan because they don't put the extra veggies in the rice. Also like that they give you queso and salsa.

The complimentary chips, salsa, and queso is nice, but the friendliness and service of the staff is what made our visit the best! It was a great birthday for my wife.

I was hoping for a better experience based on the reviews, but I didn't get that. I appreciate the intimacy of my first server for the first 30-45 min but once my food came he disappeared. I had to hunt him down to let him know there was hair in my food. The hair was clearly dropped during prep as it was fused to the cheese. My new plate came in decent time but I never saw my server until he dropped the check and said "no rush". When I finally went to find him 20- 30 mins later (no exaggeration) the young lady said "oh, I took over ". No one told me my server was changing nor did she ever come to check on me.
The drinks were great but the food was sub par. I ordered the shrimp Tacos with double rice. Rice was decent, tacos were runny and bland.
I would only go back for the drinks.
I do appreciate a discount on my meal because of the hair.
