updating my review with context:
The first time I went here I came an hour before their advertised closing time as seen on google. They were closed— or closing. An employee was sitting outside and watched us walk up to the door (which also showed the same hours). It was locked. The employee didn’t bother saying anything to us. Perhaps they were off the clock? Either way, why were you closed an hour early?

We did eventually come in another day (two hours before closing just in case. it was open! yay) and got a variety of bagels and a cream cheese. The bagels didn’t taste fresh and were pretty tough but the cream cheese was good; the service wasn’t exactly great. The experience was disappointing. Life goes on.

I now go to a different bagel place that has always been open when they say they’ll be open.

Great variety of bagel sandwiches and coffee. Bagel wasn't completely cut in half or centered, so half the meat was hanging off, but it tasted good!

Bad juju… At the drive up window today, I asked three times (THREE!) for the employee to speak louder because of all the lunchtime traffic on 21st Street. Never once did this man’s volume or expression change. The monotonous droning remained the same. And guess what? We got the wrong schmear! Big surprise there…not! He finally understood I wanted six plain bagels in a bag although I was repeatedly asked if I wanted them sliced, toasted, or spread with schmear. The voice I spoke with when I called back said it was him, although the voice was different and the person at the window was a young bespeckled man, soft voiced and pleasant enough, but evidently not the cashier listed on the receipt, Tracey, or the manager who claimed to be Larry. Something’s rotten in Denmark as Shakespeare would say. Don’t use the window if the employee is reluctant, unwilling to speak louder, or just messing with you. Like I said, just bad ju ju. Thanks for offering to switch out the schmearp though, but as I told you, we live an hour away and that’s an unthinking choice. I only wanted someone in authority to know there was an issue with the volume. I’ll pass on by next time.

It is 2 PM and your Google hours say you close at 3pm yet the doors are locked.
This is happened another time at this location.
Also, your Wi-Fi hasn’t worked here for 4+ months. It’s like you are trying to fail.

By far the worst Einstein Bagel experience. It’s honestly not worth anyone’s time to give them your money and if you look at the other reviews for this store they’ll say the same thing.

It’s disappointing to look forward to grabbing a bagel sandwich before work just to realize the order you received is the exact opposite of what you ordered. They weren’t busy. There was no rush. But my morning was ruined because of their lack of attention to the main product they serve. It’s clear they do not care.

Next time, I’ll leave home earlier to go to Old School Bagel or New York Bagel on Brookside.

I like the drink specials they have during their happy hour. I believe it's half off any specialty drink.
