On Saturday I went with my family and after the drinks are expensive the waitresses don't even know what a Malibu is and how to prepare a drink after this the waitress comes at 3am to tell me I'm going to close the bar do you want something I'll tell her yes bring me a bucket which he brought me with a heat of 72$ and it's not just that in glasses I won't go again,

The restaurant’s focus is seafood. They also offer a variety of typical Mexican fare, in addition to the seafood. Their menu is available on line at their website.

The details… It is not OKIEMEX. And that’s fine. Mexican food comes in many varieties. I like to try varieties. This particular variety I don’t favor. It just wasn’t good enough to get enthusiastic about.

Starting with the disappointing salsa. It was a replication of spaghetti sauce served hot (as in temperature) and hot (as in taste) from red chili pepper. Heavy on the oregano. Other than bottled sauce there are no other options.

We had the “Milanese de Pollo” and the “Filete de Pescado a la Diabla.” Both generous, large portions, served on plates able to accommodate the amount of food. Milanese de Pollo was two thin chicken breasts, coated with a good layer of bread crumbs and deep fried. It was served with very lightly seasoned beans and rice. The beans were different. A hint of cinnamon was noticeable. The tilapia filet was grilled and covered with a decent “Diabla” style sauce. Good heat as it should have, and thankfully, not mouth blistering. The rice; meh. Each meal had a sampling of salad [just for presentation I guess] with a miniscule drip of dressing. The dry salad made no contribution to the enjoyment of the meal. Well then. Nothing on the plates were bad, but…….the fries were the best.
Service: Friendly and adequate

If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection "Jalapeno Highway" by Spike S. on Yelp. I've probably been there.

The drinks are always super hot. It's hell there, it's always burning like the weather doesn't turn on, and to end it, it's always the same.

Generous portions of food. I got the fajitas and there was plenty left and took some home in a to-go box. The menu has a lot of seafood options. So, it’s not your typical menu that you sea from a Mexican restaurant, but if you like seafood than this is the place for you. The restaurant was empty of customers… The coffee was instant. A negative, but since we were the only customers, that makes sense from a business stand point. The food was delicious and believe the service would be better if more people visited. It did take a few minutes longer to receive the meal, because it had to be made. Lighting was flickering from a bad light bulb and moved to the opposite side of the restaurant from being annoyed. Paper towels in restroom was empty and I couldn’t dry my hands.

I was there on A Saturday afternoon, not busy we were the only ones there, I got the michelada, the michelada mix they used was, so sour it tasted it was gone bad, also order the shrimp pasteles, the dough was so thick and also sour, filed with mostly cheese hardly any shrimps, overall one star, I don’t understand people rating this place 4-5 stars,—

Amazing food. This is no standard Tex-Mex affair. Most of the menu is in Spanish with English explanation. The michelada is to die for! Their portion sizes are always greatAtmosphere: loud music, relaxed, informal, and chill servers.Customer service: normally only seen 1 or 2 waiters. The primary waiter doesn't speak much english, and I don't speak much Spanish. You can easily order even knowing no spanish. Fast, and friendly.Order accuracy: never got the wrong order and food was always good.Order speed: average wait time from order to food reaching the table. This is also very impressive because they make everything as it's ordered. All homemade fresh!Food quality: you will never be disappointed! One of the best Mexican places I've had. This is amazing Mexican NOT TEXMEX!All in all, 10/10Recommended food: tortas, guacamole, tacos, flautas, gorditas, and YOU MUST GET THE MICHELADA!

Right when we went in the lady seemed really rude, then we sat down and the chairs felt like they were about to break, the table wasn’t dirty but the menu were sticky and very dirty. The drinks were actually pretty good other than the cups being stained. Our food took a good while to be made but i understand, there were to servers I don’t know if they were also doing the cool or what but it was my family of 6 and another table with 4 people. But once my food arrived it looks good honestly it was Apollo Al queso, but then she gave me the silverware and the fork and spoon were stained but the knife still had hot sauce on it. Then the chicken was great, but the rice tasted like they had cooked it in dirty water. My fries were also good. And for my family they couldn’t finish eating their food. Yeah I really couldn’t come back, it really made my stomach sick.
