We were traveling back to Edmond OK stopped in Tulsa at el chico. Got enchiladas and the beaf meat is not the same. Tortilla are still good.

I’ve been eating at ElChicos since the 1980s and today I really enjoyed my visit. My food was good and the enchilada, tamale and friholes really stood out. The best thing about our visit was the service. Peggy was the epitome of an excellent waitress: her friendliness, knowledge about our order, and her prompt attention were all on point in serving us. This place has gone down hill. You can tell they changed the salsa and chips are different and stale. The plate was hot food was not. Overall really not a good dinner. Poor waitress was frazzled and you could tell clueless

Chicken fajitas a bit bland. Adding the ribs was good, tender and flavorful. I would probably just order ribs next time. Server a bit overwhelmed. Had to wait and ask for chip refills, directly after being served queso.

Our waitress Crystal was the best ever funny, kind, attentive and over all the best waitress I've ever had will be coming back and requesting her everytime! :)
This restaurant never disappoints, it doesn't matter what you order from the menu. The wait staff are friendly from the time you enter the eatery to the time you leave. Their salsa and guacamole are made fresh daily and this one gives veterans a 10% discount and always thank hubby for his service, which I greatly appreciate. I will miss this one when we move to Kansas.

My family & I had the MOST AMAZING service we've had in a long time. There was so much team work happening between the staff members. The hostess Brittany was kind & helpul. The manager Troy was humble & working hard side by side with his staff. Our waitress, Diana, is a SUPERSTAR!!! She was attentive, intuitive, funny & sweet. She was the best waitress we've had in a longgg time. We will return.
Side note: My daughter left her handbag in the restaurant & the staff found it, secured it & returned it with everything intact. We are so grateful.
