Before shopping we always like to stop here for killer tacos. Especially on Taco Tuesdays since there only a buck each. Now we all no I love tacos and these tacos are so good. We always had great service from here as well as good margaritas. Love the hot complimentary chips n hot salsa they have here as well. Girlfriend orders the Al Pastor tacos they are always on point. Everything we've ordered here has always been delicious. You get a lot of food for a good price.

We called two weeks ahead to reserve enough tables for about 20 people for my wife’s birthday. They took the reservation. When we showed up, they said that there was too many people and that they don’t take reservations for that many people. They didn’t call us to tell us that, nor did they tell us that when we called, originally.

This is another horrible restaurant that has super low quality food, but in a great location. I think it's building location and liquor are probably the only way this place stays open. This is the McDonald's of Tulsa Tex-Mex...

My very first time visiting El Guapo's was during my time as a Fligh Attendant during an overnight. The Pilot for the flight recommended the place (and since he was covering the cost we were totally up for giving it a shot haha). It was well worth the recommendation! We had awesome food, the drinks were great, the staff got us in and out when we finally broke away from the crazy fun we were all having! If you end up out this way stop by and let me know what you think! I plan on making a few more trips here!

Wasted money eating here. Chips are gross not even the queso or salsa can make them edible. Food was mediocre. Didn't even finish my plate because it was just not enjoyable to eat. Waiter was awkward and not attentive. I specifically asked the waitress about certain foods, she had replied no to my question and when my food was brought out the answer was not no but yes so I had to request something different. Seats were dirty and would it kill anyone to dust the decorations on the walls? They just look filthy. Won't be coming back here.

Simply average Mexican. Nothing horrible but nothing spectacular. We were seated quickly and had good service thought our meal. Their food is basic Mexican and seems a little bland, lacking the bold Mexican flavors I'd expect at mexican restaurant. For simple and quick Mexican it's decently priced. Their rooftop bar has some pretty awesome views of downtown and the neon pink prickly pear margarita is delicious, so we do enjoy coming up to the top for happy hour.

I was in town for the Big 12 Wrestling Championships. El Guapo's was on the way to the BOK Center so I stopped Sunday late afternoon, early evening prior to the final session. I sat at the bar. I asked bartender and server for suggestions. I ordered a Enchilda Combo. Two were plenty. Chips and Salsa was very good. I spilled some salsa on a windbreaker. I asked the server for a glass of water to try and catch the spill right away. She took a small glass of water, then poured some salt into a container and gave me a black cloth napkin. Showed my how to wet the cloth napkin, dap it in salt then apply to spill/stain. Worked like a charm!!

El Guapo's is really slipping in both quality and service. Tonight my family met up with friends, before the restaurant became busy. I'm not certain if our waiter was new or not but I have to say...he just wasn't very on top of things. Waters at our table were never refilled and he barely acknowledged the fact that it took our food over 30 minutes to arrive at our table. When it did finally arrive my fish tacos were seriously over cooked. This just isn't the El Guapo's I remember.

Secrets Dont make friends

Came to have dinner with my family today and sat at the roof top, we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. We placed our orders and only two people got their food around 30 minutes later, the rest of us had to wait about 10-15 minutes to get our food after they were served. Some of us never did get our sides that we requested, also several of us asked for limes for our drinks several times and dint get them. My soup was cold by the time I got it, so I decided to just take it home and warm it up at home. I asked for a to go container and they brought me a container with dust and hair inside of it. The waitress did bring me back a clean container but I was already grossed out. I can understand if the restaurant is busy that we would be expected to wait and service can be slower but it was 4pm when we got there and there was about 5 other tables in the whole restaurant Needles to say the experience left a lot to be desired. I used to be a restaurant supervisor so I am familiar with food service and this was a very poor experience.

Good service. Awesome top floor patio for good weather. Smoking allowed up top. 5/5 stars

Probably the worst Tex mex I've been too, refried beans and rice was decent but who can mess that up. The "flutas" was a soggy chimney filled cheese with three pieces of meat. Also I ordered a mango margarita on rocks. they brought back a frozen when I sent it back it looked like they just put ice in it. Would not recommend
