The owner is super friendly. Me and my wife came in and were the only ones there. Got ribs, chicken, and baked beans with brisket. Everything was absolutely delicious. All the BBQ sauce was made in house. I wish more people would come in and enjoy this food. The portions were good for a late lunch and price is comparable to BBQ chain restaurants that don’t have that great of flavor. Ribs were thick and tender and not dry at all. 10/10, coming back again!

My partner and I stopped here after hearing that this was a decent spot to get some good barbecue. Boy were the reviews incorrect, and misleading. Food portions were tiny, it reminded me of eating in a public school. The price of those portions is insanely overpriced.
Beef was alright, no true flavor. Sausage was dry as a bone, and heavily seasoned. Bologna was flavorless. Potato salad? A joke. It was more cold potato than anything.
The service was questionable. It was a one man show, and he was all over the place. I have to admire a man trying to hold his own but there is a time and a need for help to be hired.
Will not be returning.

Stopped in on a whim.. To my delight, I was met by Keith, the owner. I inquired about 'rib ends'... he told me about his 'short rib ends' . Everything he boasted confidently about, I found to be true!! The ends were fabulous!!! Very juicy, meaty and absolutely great!!!!! No sauce needed! Keith was so friendly. The tiny dining area is wonderfully decorated with vintage poster of great Blues musicians!! I left completely satisfied !!

Our company catered Elmer's for our Employee Appreciation lunch and it was the BEST BBQ I've had in a while. Great smokey flavor, not overpowering, and the ribs were nicely tender and juicy without being mushy. The pulled pork was spot on and I didn't even need to add sauce. Highly recommend Elmer's for your next catering event!

After many years of not being able to eat at Elmer’s, been able to eat here semi-regularly again.
And gotta say, the food is still fantastic! I’ve been getting the Badwhich here lately (with hot links and on the bun), as it has a lil’ bit of everything, comes with a rib and two sides.
I love getting the corn on the cob and Mac-n-Cheese. But if they’re out of one of the items (since it’s made in house), I also love the coleslaw.
The owner is very personable and wants you to have a great meal, which is why I’m always eager to come back!
