The portions were small. I ordered a 3 meat I think. I got one dry tough rib, 2 thinly small sliced pieces of bologna, and a scoop of tasteless brisket. The baked beans tasted like canned pork and beans with barbeque sauce and the potato salad tasted like mashed potatoes with a little mayo. Both in very small containers. This place has a very relaxing and calm environment to it. All of the blues decor is cool and the music they play is very relaxing as well. The owner was very friendly and nice. Service was fast and the food was great. You should definitely give this place a try and get you some of that good ole Oklahoma Smoked BBQ
Shout out to Keith, who owns Elmer’s BBQ in Brookside. I haven’t been to Elmer’s in years. Turns out they moved 3 years ago to 3316 S Peoria Ave. Keith’s passion for his BBQ and his customers is unmatched. My wife & I ate lunch there today and left with full stomachs and a new friend. The BBQ, sides and sauce were all terrific! It be BAD (in a good way)
