Dumplings are good, miso soup is good. Japanese fried chicken was so burnt/tough it was not edible. The desserts were not great either, butter mochi (hard and lacks flavor) and the custard dessert was overwhelming with maple syrup and salt. Portions of all the mentioned were small. Cool vibe but food was just ok.
This food pop-up in the coffee shop is exceptional. The dumplings are absolutely perfect! The flavor, the spice, and the portions are an absolute value at this price. The coffee menu hasbplenty to choose from and they also have a few summer beers to go perfectly with the food options. Seating is great, both indoors and out. And the staff is some of the best we've net in Tulsa!
These. Chefs. Are. Next. Level. It is a right of passage to go to dumpling night if you want to be a true Tulsan. It's a wonderful experience with perfect food and drinks. I recommend getting both types of dumplings, sodies, and a pot de creme if you want the experience of a lifetime on a random Wednesday night. The staff and chefs are so friendly, and this is something I always look forward to.
