I don't think people realize that this Fair Meadows sports bar and grill is open every day and pretty much anybody can just walk in there and use the bar and grill I don't think you have to Be betting on the television broadcast horse races. I just go in and sit at the bar and a waitress will come and ask you what you want to drink and the iced tea is wonderful and they also have a daily special on the food. And you can ask for a menu in the hamburgers are awesome. I wish I had known about this place 20 years ago.
It's in the fairgrounds right next to the water park and it's to the east of the hotel at the fairgrounds. I think I saw an employee of the fairgrounds taking an order for somebody that was in a RV park on the fairgrounds. I think they deliver to the RV Park.

Love the many tvs.....horse-racing atmosphere. The food can be better. Sometimes it is superb .. sometimes iffy. Consistency is a virtue!

If you like horserace betting and eating too...this is a great place. Food not spectacular but not bad either. Individual tvs at each booth...for watching horseraces(about 10 channels) or just TV in general (about 4 channels). You DO NOT have to bet on races to be there.
