Farrell has changed its bread ie I believe they are no longer using a quality wheat. The bread does not taste the same at all. They are more interested in the wholesale side, thus mass producing the product which is lower quality. Too bad as this was a great bread but no more.

Ordered a round raisin Challah one week before needing, then I sent an email 4 days before needing to confirm. 40 minutes before pickup time the bakery calls to tell me they did not make the challah for me.
Extremely disappointing service and response by them. They have lost me as a customer after 12 years of buying bread from them

I have supported this place for years never have I been with such rude unhelpful service and such space shelf's with it a mess inside. They wouldn't get Rick the manager for me to speak with they stopped chicken salad and human or pesto type toppings. The pastry shelf's were so pathetic only two items in them. Severely disappointed in the bread and food options on top of lack of service and assistance. They used to offer help picking bread and sampling. Not sure I'll ever return.

Everything I’ve gotten there has been good except for the sourdough. Their sourdough is truly terrible.
The bread was stale, even though I was told it had been baked that morning. I was lied to, and paid $8 for a loaf of stale rye bread.
This place always sells soooooo good!!!

I came in hoping to get some coffee, but unfortunately, I wasn’t greeted or acknowledged. The two women working were sitting in the back on their phones with AirPods in, and the male staff member saw me but didn’t come out to assist either. It felt like I was completely ignored, which was disappointing. I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes it can be addressed—every customer should feel welcome when they walk in.
Serene atmosphere, fresh baked bread, good people.
Got a bag in TooGoodToGo and it had a variety of breads. Cashier was nice as well

The website is misleading. There's a menu that indicates sandwiches are served, but the clerk said sandwiches are not served. Also, the bakery case had very few options available. This was a wasted trip. Please update the website to reflect what is offered.
I went in to get a loaf of bread. I bought 3 for $15. It is very good bred.
The bread is always excellent! I avoid eating bread but When I do I eat this bread! Minimal ingredients and freshly baked! I was a little disappointed today, I placed an order a few days prior for easter and for pickup on Saturday. The young man who was there had no idea about my order but was able to find my receipt. He apologized for the inconvenience and was able to resolved the issue.
I called today asking about their breads. The person didn’t know what types of bread they have. She was totally no help to me.

Going into the retail space for Farrell is pretty useless. I've tried several times and it's a huge disappointment. The interior space is nice but it's sterile and no one is there. They didn't bother to make it inviting or comfortable. I don't know who staffs the store, it seems like friends and family or high school kids, because no one that works there knows anything.
They sell local products, eggs, stuff you'd like to support. Try asking whoever is forced to work the counter, they've never tried any of it, they aren't interested.
The last straw was when we made a specific trip to buy bread from the retail space so it hadn't been sitting in plastic like at the grocery store. We ask for sourdough, the kid gives us a random plastic bag with pre-sliced bread. We ask to have him slice a fresh loaf, he says it's fresh. Welp, we don't argue, go home.
At home, it becomes obvious that the bread in question their Italian, not their sourdough.
So, if you want to get poor customer service by employees that know less about Farrell's products than their own customer base, by all means, visit this store. I won't be buying this bread ever again, in store, or out. It's not a family operation, it's a large industrial bread factory with zero care for customers.
