I would 100% recommend the pollo queso es gas. The drinks were very well made being house margaritas on the rocks. They had a kick and that’s hardly easy to say for an entry drink. The food and flavor was amazing. I highly recommend you pull up here. Owner was friendly and nice it’s very refreshing.

This is my favorite local Mexican restaurant. I originally started going here because they have shrimp enchiladas. Those are delicious, but so is everything else I have tried. The atmosphere is family friendly and the staff are warm as well.Parking: Parking is easy to get in and out of.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and are receptive to families with kids.

It was a good lunch!But, overall it is just an average Mexican restaurant.The table salsa was fresh with a good taste from the cilantro, garlic and onions. The hotter salsa is about the same, except a little chunkier and more heat.Enchiladas Suizas were packed with chicken and covered in a very tasty queso. They came with a small bowl of very good rancho beansPollo con Queso was also a good. It was seasoned grilled chicken covered in queso. With a chili toreado on the side rounded out the meal.There were only two ladies working at the time and they were having to hustle to take care of the customers, bus tables and manage the cash register at the front. The food came out quickly, after it was ordered though.They have a good variety and fairly priced lunch specials.If you are in the area, give it a try.If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection "Jalapeno Highway" on Yelp. Everything was perfect when we went for lunch. The chips were fresh and the salsa was some of the best I've ever had. I got the Pollo Con Queso and it was fantastic!
Waitress was absolutely horrible. Food was not bad but it took way to long to get it considering there was only a total of 5 customers. And almost 60 bucks for two people to eat a couple tacos and burritos is outrageous. In Impressed!! We will not go back.

Great food and staff . First time trying cactus, meh...Seats are worn out, probably 20 years ago but don't let that hold you back from going.
