Food and service is great, however when sitting in one of the booths I noticed dust along the wood where the plants were. I did inform the waiter who waited on us and he assured to let management know. Hopefully they've gotten better with the upkeep of the restaurant.

my boyfriend and i came in for dinner and it was delicious! the atmosphere was really nice and it’s very clean. we definitely recommend! also try the red velvet cake you won’t be disappointed.

Food wasn't the best kinda nasty tasting waiter was slow only came by 2 times in the hour we was there. Definitely won't be going back we spent $200 and wasn't happy at all with the food or the services

Must try! Delicious food, beautiful restaurant and great service. First time trying Fixins and it did not dissapoint. We tried several appatizers like the fried Okra and the fried deviled eggs and both were great! I ordered the Chicken and waffles with a side of cole slaw and Mac and cheese. Let me just say... the CHICKEN.... wow... crispy, juicy and very flavorful. I rate this restaurant a 9.1/10. Also... Koolaid!

My wife liked the fried chicken and I liked the smothered fried chicken. The peach cobbler was good, although my wife thought it was a bit too sweet. Our service was good. We appreciate the lady at our hotel who recommended Fixins' We would recommend this restaurant for soul food.

I had a fantastic Sunday brunch at Fixins Soul Kitchen Tulsa! The food was delicious and full of authentic soul food flavors that really hit the spot. The brunch menu offered a great variety, and everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. Our waitress, Sinayah, was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. I highly recommend Fixins Soul Kitchen for a delightful brunch experience in Tulsa and can't wait to come back!
ohhhhhh My GOODNESS... we live in Kent ohio... and i wanted something would cook but didn't want to cook it... it was also my 44th birthday... On May 22 2025.. my husband and I drove 190 mile one way to a random restaurant that fell under the search tab of soul food. I have never been to detroit so I was very surprised with the city vibe... the location was great! when I walked in i noticed the smiles first.... then the bar had a whole sports bar vibe... the way the dining area merged into full effect was awsome! I loved the oil paintings... most ceilings are painted black to hide any flaws .. this ceiling was painted tan.. and it made the dining area bright... it smelled like my grandma's house... and the food was like it came off her stove... the yams were soft but still held there form.. the mac and cheese was soooooo soooo good.. but that chicken.. fried to perfection... Nick, our waiter, was excellent... he maintained eye contact.. he smiled.. he continued to check on us although his section got full. I love the diversity in the employees... and I also loved how customers just kept coming in.. the restrooms we immaculate. the hidden gem and cherry on top for me, was the VIP area. although I did not go in.. I was highly impressed that this one establishment has a bar, dining room, and a VIP section.. I'm telling everybody about this place... and I will definitely be back... this place has so much black culture and respects our heritage. I was proud to spend my money at this restaurant! thank you

Start to finish was outstanding. The service was great. Food outstanding. I got the catfish nuggets and two side (greens and Mac and cheese) greens... must get! At the end we shared the best, and I mean the best peach cobbler.

street parking, handicap accessibility on point, greeted at the door, seated immediately, tables were sanitized not just wiped, food came out hot amd fast, waitress were sweet, reasonably priced, would definitely come again and try something new.
