I had rev beans and rice: and okra. Both were absolutely amazing! First time I had been there. The only thing I was missing was sausage in the red beans and rice

This place hits 5 stars are every level. From the minute you walk through the door until you leave. The atmosphere is causal restaurant and bar area. Very elegant decor. The hostess and the manager were friendly and amazing. We were checked on the right amount times. You didn't feel like they was badgering and rushing but enough you aways had what you needed. The food was prepared faster than the McDonald's down the street. That kitchen is on point period. Now the best part that food. We had the fried green tomatoes. Let me tell you them was fire. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy just like momma made on Sunday. Then the red beans and rice was cooked perfectly fluffy rice with red beans with just a kick. There is hot sauce on the table if you want more. Now the star of the dinner them Collard Greens. I died and went someone grandma house from Alabama or Georgia. The absolute best I have ever had. They so good you will drink the broth at the end. My suggestion get a double of them. This is a must go period.

Fixins Downtown Tulsa absolutely nailed it. The Blue Kool-Aid Tequila drink was AMAZING—easily a new favorite. Our server Miss Lacey was incredible: attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better.

The DJ was playing great music, setting the perfect vibe, and the owner happened to be there too—super charismatic and genuinely checked in to make sure we were having a great time. You can tell this place really cares about its guests.

Such an amazing experience overall. Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to come back again next time!

We had the chicken, fish sandwich, fries Mac&cheese, creens. I have to say, the chicken was over cooked and very dry. The greens were a complete no go. Couldn't even eat them. We asked for No onions on the fish sandwich of course there were loads of onion on the sandwich. The Mac&cheese was good, but greasy. Overall we gave this restaurant a 3. Maybe some things are better than others. We just know, this was a bust. $73 worth of food that most couldn't and didn't get eaten.

The atmosphere was absolutely wonderful—warm, inviting, quickly seated and perfect for a great dining experience. The service truly stood out; our server had an amazing personality, was attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our visit. The only area that fell a bit short was the chicken, which lacked the flavor we were seeking. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and with a little more seasoning in the chicken, it would be outstanding.

I was excited to Fixins as a black owned Soul Food service in Tulsa Oklahoma and being a newcomer. I was very disappointed. I had yams, red bean & rice, chicken tenders & ice tea. Surprisingly, the food menu was very limited. I can only review food I was served. The yams had a great flavor, they were overcooked and very mushy. The red beans & rice had no flavor at all, very bland taste. The chicken tenders were fried nicely, no taste, bland. My tea was in a large Mug, great taste and I asked for tea to go. All the foods were left on table. My honest opinion is that they need to rethink how food is prepared. The services were great and atmosphere was great. The restaurant was very clean. I was expecting the restaurant to be more decorated featuring black artifacts that represent Black Wall Street. I won’t visit again unless there is a new cook. I wasted my money on food, however due to being black owned, I am happy to cater to.
