street parking, handicap accessibility on point, greeted at the door, seated immediately, tables were sanitized not just wiped, food came out hot amd fast, waitress were sweet, reasonably priced, would definitely come again and try something new.

I barely have the words to express just how much I enjoyed this...
The fried green tomatoes were a lovely way to start... Batter was seasoned perfectly.
The fried chicken was everything that I was expecting, crunchy, juicy and oh so flavorful. The collard greens were possibly the best that I've ever had. The light smokiness from the neck bone paired oh so well with the natural bitterness. The grits with pimento cheese was a delightful combination. 1,000,000 / 10... I will be back.

This dining establishment is one of The Best Restaurants I have visited in a while.
The quality of their food says a lot about the hands that prepare their food and the time they pour into their meals are exceptionally delicious!
The entire staff is very friendly & accommodating to host our large family to dine in.
Unfortunately, we needed to return back to Las Vegas but we will definitely be back on our next visit! Please don’t change a thing on your menu ……. It truly was amazing!!

My wife and I went a few weeks backs, while visiting my uncle in Tulsa. I should have got an order to take home with me. Food was delicious, staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was exceptional. I'm looking forward to the new locations, so I can partake further. Highly recommended

Fixing is full of culture and great food. Reservation may be required. However I was able to walk in.

Kid-friendliness: Greens and oxtails were excellent. Drinks are recommended

Whole Lotta Nope

Upon first glance you'd assume this is a fast casual trendy suburban chain that specializes in whatever trend is popping and gone tomorrow.

The food and the theme speak for themselves. Once you start to realize what all the pastiche is representing in that brightly it industrial chic space, and then you see the food-- every doubt is off the table.

My friend and I each got a 3 piece and 3 sides, and a waffle to split. We also shared an order of the fried green tomatoes.

The chicken was crispier than whatever the crispiest thing you can think of. Seasoned down to the bone and juicy as heck. The sides? Fantastic. Some of the best greens i've ever had that weren't cooked at home, mac and cheese looked "ok" until we dug into it and found it's gooey saucey center and lord it was good. Yams were spectacular as were the red beans and rice.

We got giant mason jars of Kool-aid and I had their Old Fashioned which was great. Finished the meal off with the Banana Pudding-- which was absurdly good.

The place was still pretty freshly opened so the service was a little slow and chaotic, but the server was super kind and everything about the experience was fine-- the food was the star of the show and that's the whole point.

Definitely check this place out and don't let the super bright industrial chic make you doubt how bonafide this Soul Food is.

I wanted to give this restaurant a fair chance, but unfortunately, the service and food quality fell short of expectations. Several items I requested from the menu were unavailable, leading me to order a cocktail instead. When our meal arrived, we were already halfway through when I had to remind the waitress about my forgotten drink. Her response was simply, “Yes, I forgot,” without offering a solution or asking if I wanted another. Her demeanor suggested a lack of interest, which added to the disappointing experience. Having to revisit the menu multiple times due to unavailable items was frustrating, and overall, I found the service to be subpar. Regrettably, I don’t see myself returning.

Service and vibe was great! Food quality was not quite the same as the previous times I’ve been. The biscuit was rock hard, oxtails were a bit dry with not much gravy on it, some of the white rice was a bit hard and the chicken looked undercooked. We’ve always had great food at this place and it is my favorite soul food restaurant. I’m hoping this will not be the norm was a bit disappointed this time around.
