A disappointment. This is not a Jewish deli. It is clear that the owners have never been to a proper Jewish deli. My pastrami sandwich was so dry. The meat had an odd taste that was closer to BBQ than a good pastrami. The meat was very low moisture. The rye bread lacking a good chew and flavor. The sour kraut was the only bright spot of the sandwich. It was good, but there was hardly a teaspoon on the sandwich. One thing that is apparent is that there is no cooking or preparation of food onsite. It is trucked in from offsite. Only sandwich assembly. Other than the last steps of the food prep, everything else is self-service. The one nice thing is that one could choose how much meat one could have on their sandwich. This is nice if one is just a bit peckish. One could order a smaller sandwich. If one was really hungry, one could order a more substantial sandwich. In general, this is not a very good place to eat. The value for the money spent is poor. I will not return.

food and service was outstanding. I would highly recommend delicious fresh clean food.

The worst Pastrami I have ever had. And how do you make a Rye bread that lacks flavor. Apparently they don't melt the cheese on the hot Reuben, what a lousy sandwich. Overall, stay away from this place.

Kinda hard being a first visit. Went for brunch with daughter. It is exactly as others (Yelp, Google) have reviewed. It is strictly serve yourself. For us it took a bit to get use to even in the smallish area. It's arranged in a sort of circle -- staff and food in the middle and you walk around it, getting drinks, napkins, silverware, etc. The staff seemed nice enough, opposing other reviews. They gave us menus that we took to a table to look over. It was quite small. I didn't see pastry offerings, but it was our first visit. I want to see signs -- What it is & how much$. I hate it when grocery stores can't get their signage in line with their pricing. Honestly, I don't recall which sandwiches we ordered but we both had their house cured meat. She liked it, I didn't care for it. To me it was like Sunday beef roast on a sandwich. The little shopping area is really cute. We didn't have time that day to poke around. I hope this helps you navigate your visit. It's always a good idea to know what you're getting into. We'll go back, with better knowledge.

The sandwiches are delicious! The prices are a bit on the high side, roughly $15 for a sandwich nothing else included.

Limited but delicious menu. Most items are made in house. Pastrami and brisket were very good.

I cannot say enough how awesome this place is. The service was genuinely friendly, and the food was AMAZING. We're new to Tulsa, and this was our first visit. We ordered a ton of food and took it home. Everything was delicious. We were literally moaning, "This is SOOO good!" The meat was cooked to perfection and really flavorful. It melts in your mouth. Thanks! And we'll be back.

Soooo....I have been waiting to get a chance to go to Gambill's JD forever. Got a chance to pick up lunch today. Such a cute place! Service was awesome! Everyone was so friendly. Now on to the stuff that isn't that great. I bought the 14oz pastrami sandwich, but as my bf was eating it I saw that the box said 6oz as he was saying he thought the meat was a very small portion. So not happy on that. Put in my email to get a receipt as well and never received it (not blaming them, maybe an error), but all in all just don't know why it's a big deal on this place. Just not impressed with what is given (for the price). I know the meat and everything is done in house, but I just wasn't impressed. At least I tried the place, but not going to do it again.

Delicious housemade everything bagel, cream cheese and Americano! This ain't your daddy's Einstein Bros overinflated, soft bagel. A craggy, chewy marvel, packed with flavor, graced with soft, tangy spread. Staff was enthusiastic and accommodating.

Disappointed. They were out of pastrami and recommended the brisket with provolone. It all lacked flavor. Dry bread, horseradish was too weak, brisket was bland. Instead of yelling the name associated with our order, she fixed the order for the person behind us before she started yelling. It is all self service. Fetch your own drinks and clean your own table.

When walking in, initially we felt as if we were in a fishtank (in a good way). The food was bombalamadomdom mmmm...The pastrami sat good I'll tell you what. And the service was amazing... I felt at home, reminiscing about Thanksgivings and charcuterie board competition championship celebrations at Ma-ma's house. I didn't feel like I was being interrogated or watched like so many other "delis" around the globe.

Food was good except that it was served on plastic and paper which is enough of a make me never come back. Service was rude and slow. Enjoyed the bagel and the beef bacon but it was a bit chewy.
