Reviews for Gilcrease Museum
My prior experiences here were amazing. On Sundays they had open art classes. The exhibits are always bright and invigorating. Now they are going to tear it all down for a smaller facility. As someone who works in the AEC industry, I think maybe this was done prematurely and renovations could have worked. It's just obvious that most parts of the building haven't even come close to hitting their obsolescence yet.
Wonderful, a do not miss museum. Especially notable western and Native American art collections. Remington, Russell and Moran paintings and sculptures amongst others. Easy to navigate the spacious galleries. Even if your not big into art, you will enjoy this place.

Gilcrease Museum is a perfect place to go to learn about and enjoy the beauty of western art, Native American artists and artifacts. Admission charge is $8 for adults $6 for seniors, it is a great value for the money and time well spent. They are going to go through a major renovation and will be closed for three years after the 4th of July. You definitely will not be disappointed.
