The service was good. The food was cold and soggy. The biscuits were the worst. Store bought canned biscuits that were all stiff and hard and could not eat at all.

Absolutely awesome brunch! Got the chicken fired steak, onion rings and hash browns and it killed! As someone who loves fried food it was hard till now to find an amazing chicken fried steak that could par with grandmas cooking and I highly recommend it! Also very flavorful onion rings and great hash browns!

Our waiter greeted us immediately. She a very friendly and didn't seem to hate her job. The food was delicious as well. We really loved the biscuits and gravy. That biscuit was delicious!! The pork chop was 😋 Unfortunately there was a druggie annoying her and disturbing the peace in the restaurant. She finally told her she had to leave. She svery kind about it though💕

Yeeeehaaa at a boy!!! Stepping into Golden Saddle is like taking a little trip back in time. The charm of the place really shines, especially with the service. Our waitress was the quintessential diner lady, full of warmth and personality, calling us "honey" and "babe" throughout the meal. It made the experience feel extra personal and welcoming.
The food? Absolutely fantastic! We all ordered different dishes, and everything was cooked to perfection. Whether you’re craving breakfast or a homestyle lunch, the kitchen has it down. The prices were just right—not too high, not too low—perfectly in line with what you'd expect for great quality.
Now, for a small observation: the interior could use some updating, and the bathrooms are definitely showing their age. The tables were a bit on the dirty side as well. But honestly, with food this good and service that friendly, those minor details didn’t overshadow the overall experience. We’ll definitely be back!
The food while quite overpriced, was delicious!. The service however was not great. The server didn't know what they did or didn't have, food wise, she did not refill our drinks , not even the coffee. She was now well versed in the dishes either.

Admittedly a greasy spoon, I would not recommended for vegans, for vegetarians there are a few decent options, the veggie potato will not disappoint, fried green tomatoes, mushrooms all a treat. For vegans if you get a side salad ask for no cheese, fries are good, not sure about the fried mushrooms but it comes with Ranch that I pawned off on my omnivores.

About three years ago, I had went to the Golden saddle to have a buffet and it was really disgusting. I don’t know if since then they’ve changed management or what but I had the best sausage and biscuits and gravy.
