A delightful meal from start to finish. Il Seme is a sister restaurant of the Farm Bar, one of the absolute best restaurants in town. Il Seme is their take on an Italian focused dining experience. The focaccia bread is a must (the butter is amazing) and I highly recommend the trout if it's on the menu. The menu is limited and changes frequently and everything we've tasted was delicious. The one area that needs improvement would be the bar options, particularly dessert drinks. The choice is quite limited and could easily be improved.

New favorite restaurant unlocked! Seriously, what a treasure we have seated in the heart of downtown Tulsa. The moment we walked in we were treated to a beautiful experience, the ambiance capturing us instantly. Candle lit tables, gentle music playing overhead, it was the perfect date night spot. The food though is where they REALLY shine. We tried something from each section of their menu, and each item was better than the last (don’t skip on the fried olives!). The service was wonderful as well! Our sever, D, was an absolute delight and took excellent care of us throughout our evening. I cannot wait to go back and try more of their wonderful food and support this super tasty local restaurant that deserves all the love!

I would come back for drinks and enjoy the atmosphere but the food was incredibly disappointing. I have never complained to a waiter about an entree before but I would have rated it a 1/10. It seemed like pasta that has been boiled and maybe buttered. When we (someone else at the table ordered the same dish to their disappointment) the waiter said people can add seasoning but most of their customers don’t like salt? For a $30 “savory” pasta dish you expect a little more. Would not return for a main course, or at least avoid the gnocchi entree.

Very fast. Focaccia has magnificent flavor. Elliot is an awesome and helpful server, great knowledge of the restaurant. She MADE that experience. Gnocchi and chile pastas were super yummy. Tastes great heated up later that evening too lol. Great portions! Beautifully interesting art displayed in pic attached.

What an amazing experience! We were welcomed by the staff as soon as we arrived and felt like we had just got home. The bartenders were very nice and made us some amazing cocktails before dinner. I had an amazing moijto. The dinner we had was simply amazing. Everything tasted so fresh and very well thought out. I really feel like this is a gem of Tulsa. Highly highly recommend. It’s worth the visit!

From the greeting at the door to the service at the bar, il seme is elegant yet welcoming and warm. The atmosphere friendly and charming and the people all top notch, but individualist. I had a new pasta and it was spicy and incredible. Highly recommend.

While I appreciate the farm-to-table concept and the quality of fresh, clean ingredients, the overall experience wasn’t for me, and I don’t plan to return. The restaurant’s political messaging felt a bit too front-and-center, which distracted from the dining experience. Flavor-wise, the dishes were mild and overly simple, and the dessert’s added flavors overwhelmed everything else.

My mom still wont shut up about the ragu she got a few months ago. It was the best she ever had. Big shout out to the dude in the back who makes all the pasta, they rock at that. Appetizers and dessert are always perfect. Perfect for a date, a business meal, or even a solo date (treat yourself!). The extended space with the bar is rad too. Everyone is friendly and welcoming.
